Well today's been bit of a *. Losing McGregor for any games is a massive blow. The heartbeat of the side. Lack of depth being exposed here. Gonna see some rotation here through the 90 between Soro, Mccarthy, and Shaw. Abada out is poor as well. Gonna be a tough 90mins for sure.

This is not half turning into an uphill task with half a team.

No idea who we play right wing? Juranovic with Ralston behind him at RB? We are missing our 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice RW.

We are going to find out what McCarthy can bring and possibly Soro too. After that we are on to the likes of Connell, Shaw etc who haven’t really had any game time.

No real left back we will either soon find out what the plan for Scales is or give Montgomery a deserved chance.

Upfront one striker available Ajeti and who knows what’s happening with Giakoumakis, hopefully he’s at least on the bench.

It really feels like any momentum we had built up has really been scuppered by defeat to them, Kyogo injury, now McGregor out too.

 

Yeah that could work, but I’d maybe stick McCarthy in and take out 1 of Rogic or Turnbull

 

Yeah not ideal but considering we don’t have a fit natural right winger it means we’d have to start playing players out of position

Think he should go with that, Scales must come into the team to balance the left side allow Montgommery to play further forward. Shocking amount of injuries we have now, but first time should be able to get a draw.

so i would play him RW and put Montgomery on LW.

 

Probably add Bitton out on religious reasons as well so I'd suspect not to see him either

We’re looking depleted as * just now but thankfully Betis are struggling just now as well.

 

McCarthy definitely wont start.

 

I suspect we'll see Ralston back at RB, Juranovic LB, Jota RW and Monty at LW. Soro likely comes in for McGregor and Rogic and Turnbull both start.

I don't know whether Betis like to press, but I think with McGregor out this match will seriously challenge whether the players can/will continue to play out from the back in the way Ange wants them to. McGregor in that deep role has been crucial to us being able to do that in previous matches.

 

Starting 11 looking like a reserve team, this is gonna be tough
