I have to admit that I forgot about Allan and Christie when writing that post, and when I think about it I suppose you could include Henderson in that list as well.

If we really are considering signing both of them, and for the prices being banded about they both sound like good deals, then I agree with you that we'll be seeing a few players leaving over the next couple of windows. I wouldn't be surprised in all honestly if Christie, Henderson, GMS and maybe McGregor were sent out on loan next season (short term or otherwise).

 

Hendo and Christie I doubt will be loaned, but if we end up signing 1 or both of these wingers then GMS will be sold and McGregor will surely be loaned.

 

Henderson will need another loan I think. If we sign just 1 more central midfielder, he's not gonna get much of a look in..

He needs a top 4 Spfl move next for me, if Hibs don't come up..

 

Aye, i'd be happy with that also. Seems to be playing within himself, and not quite suited to Hibs, lately when I've seen him..

As for our other link's, I've been wanting the Mcgeady deal but the 2 Scandanavian wingers, for just over 2 mill, at those ages, sound like steals..

It's making we want to opt out, if we're even in, for McGeady..

 

I can see Christie sticking around and I personally hope he does. The only reason I mentioned him was because he's still relatively young and going out on loan wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

Henderson on the other hand I'm not so sure about. I like him, and he's fairly versatile, but we have that many players competing for the positions he's best suited to it's difficult to see where he fits in. As Monaghan said in his last post, we're apparently looking at Mocinic and Ajer (whether it's a case of one or the other, or both of them remains to be seen) who'll be competing with Brown & Bitton for starting places and probably about four other players for backup spots/sub appearances. Even if GMS and McGregor were to leave, you'd arguably still have a few other players ahead of him.

 

It's a no brainer. I think we all assumed that McGeady would be our best bet quality wise (and he still is quality) and realistically as an ex player, wanting to come home.....but I think we've all been pleasantly surprised at our business and those who we seem to be linked with, for a change. The calibre of player is exciting..

Been looking at short clips of this Dane and I hope we nab him at this price. Sound's like a jackpot, and standout in the league..

If we got him and Elyonoussi for the combined total of £2.15 million then we have won a watch. Just think thats the same price round about we paid for Armstrong and GMS.

 

I agree with you 100%, but I seem to remember you arguing against this in regards to Mackay-Steven last year when I was saying the same thing.

 

if we get Falk Jensen and Moi then I think that might spell then end of Forrest and GMS:bbpd:

 

You need to players for each position, they'd be good covering/rotation

If anything I think it would mean the end for Commons and Stokes

 

im not sure Forrest is going to sign a new contract regardless

We do have plenty cover for the supporting 3! Stokes will never wear a Celtic jersey again, commons could go in summer!
