Really good news about Majstorovic and Rogne looking good for Sunday. Also reading that Samaras is back in contention as well, along with the Korean Bhoys now they are back from International duty.

My team based on this would be:

    -----------------------Forster

    Wilson---------Rogne-----------Majstorovic---------Izaguirre

    Brown---------Kayal------------Ledley--------------Commons

    --------------Stokes-----------Hooper

    Subs:

    Samaras
    McCourt
    Juarez
    Ki
    Cha
    Mulgrew
    Zaluska

(Would have Mulgrew 1st Choice replacement CB if one doesn't recover in time.)

    Still saying 2-1 Celtic.

Does anyone think Hooper could play up-front himself?

I never predict an Old Firm game. Yes we look good and they don't especially but you know for a fact that Walter Smith will have them pumped up for this. I also know that Lenny will be drilling into the lads just how big a game this is. I'd frustrate them early on and see how their fans react. This is what we did well in the last game. Nail Diouf early on and see how he reacts. Kinda like their treatment on Robbie Keane last season. If Kayal and Ledley can boss the midfield like they did on 2nd January then we have a good chance. Go out and win the game but most importantly DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE HUNS!!!

I can see it being a boring 0-0, but I'd take that result.

whatever the score all we can ask for is 100% passion and effort, imo if we do the result will take care of itself.

unfortunately if we lose everybody will want lenny out probably.

    This!! :celt_2:

As long as the effort and passion is there I will feel pride in Celtic no matter what the score.

We shouldn't be too confident, let's focus on getting behind the team, remember the huns were over confident last time and their fans turned up expecting a win and didn't sing at all. The supposed underdogs often get a result in the OF, let's not big ourselves up, we can be quitely confident if you like.

Totally agree with this statement. Too many times in recent past the performance in these game shas lacked heart and desire e.g. 2nd half of first OF game of the season.

i definately think the passions back, unfortunately lenny had a tough task to keep it up for most of those guys first taste of the derby and it crumbled, we're back to our fighting best now imo.

I suppose a draw wouldn't be too bad a result adding to the huns already backlog of fixtures, but I really hope we can kill them off to further erode their confidence.

Got a feeling we're going to be kicked all over the park on sunday. With the addition of Diouf and Healy I think it's pretty clear Smith is backing up his henchmen.

We're not the weakest physically but we're not the strongest and Smith will put out about 5 or 6 hatchet men. He knows if he goes up against Celtic he'll get steamrolled.

Weir, Bougherra, McCulloch (might not make it), Diouf, Healy, Lafferty. All more than happy to take the opposition out. Bar the new signings each one of them should have been red carded atleast once in recent OF matches but no surprises they never.

We need a strong referee on sunday.
