    Wonder why Alex Salmond's not brought this up in Parliament or the Chief of Police hasn't been on the front page of the Daily Ranger telling us it cant go on? Because it's only Neil Lennon Celtic Manager? they where all quick enough to get on their high horse after he had an argument with Sir Ally of East Kilbride, something has got to be seriously done about this, it's would be a * disgrace if our manager, of our team is driven out by faceless *!!! If it was that Brown Brogue wearing * from Castle Grayskull, the whole Country would be up in arms.
    * bless Neil Lennon

    if they " the media wish to portray we are all the same slant" then they dont need us to try and defend ourselves on radio phone ins as this has never worked.

    why are the media not condemning the Rangers fans who are instigating these threats, there can be no debate about who is doing this - Rangers fans

    why no front page headline condemning them? front page headline to say what is happening regards threats, but who from? or do Bumpherston Miners Athletic have a militant sectarian element in their support?

    but honestly even if he would quit i think his life would still be in danger. the scum have developed a deep hatred for him whether he is managing celtic or not. i think is only option to solve the problem would be to move away from glasgow.

    The reaction to this game is pathetic and WAY WAY over the top. I wasn't there, i was watching on the tellybox and i imagine it was just a typical old firm with plenty of handbags like in all football matches. Celtic outclassed a shocking Rangers side who were clueless in every department and had nothing expect dirty fouling in their infantry, the referee played a blinder and this media hype has ruined what was some excellent football tbh. It makes me wonder about motives and allegiances of the media. Even Alan Thompson said no biggie, both managers having beers after the game.

    The voice of reason. :50:

    Have said all week that the media have blown the whole thing way out of proportion, no one got spat on, no one got punched, there were no 2-footed tackles and no one booted an owl off the pitch.

    It was a good old-fashioned Glasgow derby, tackles flying in, pushing and shoving, incident-packed and enthralling to watch.

    We've got fat * Alex Salmond weighing in with his tuppence about 'disgraceful behaviour' to gain votes and lightweight SPL supremo Regan demanding a summit to discuss the handbags at the game.

    Away and give yourselves peace the * lot of ye!!

    Never heard so much * in all my life!

    Bang on. It's not even like the Huns red cards were for violent conduct although Bougherra could have got a straight red for his tackle on Hooper.

    It was a derby match and it got heated but I've seen managers shout at each other longer and worst than Lenny and McMoist did. It happens all the time in the EPL, there's been numerous times I've seen Moyes, Wenger, etc getting involved in a slagging match and actually getting their hands on one another. It wasn't even that long ago since Gattusso and Joe Jordan were squaring up. Was there was any talk from the Scottish Parliament when Paatelainen and Smith went at it on the touchline? Of course not.

    When we beat them 2-1 with Jan scoring in the last minute there was players going at it after the final whistle. On Wednesday there was nothing like that yet it was labelled one of the worst OF matches in history? Is this really the case or was McMoist trying to get a reaction from Lennon at the end to hide the fact his team had 1 shot in 95 mins and been dominated for the 4th OF game on the trot?

    What ever the case the way the media and government have reacted makes our nation look embarrassing. Anyone remember Inter-Valencia that was violent and shocking. Wednesday's game was tame by comparison. Yet there's been claims that the game shouldn't be allowed to continue or should be played behind closed doors because two opposition staff shouted at each other.

    The press and politicians may claim that the incidents in OF games incites the fans - more than any other game - yet there were less arrests on Wednesday than during the previous OF game. If it is true, which it may then the media should look at their role instead of passing the buck to other people. As for politicians they should actually try and sort out the sectarian divide instead of coming out with brazen statements. Getting rid of the OF game won't sort the problem. Saying stuff like 'It's a disgrace' like an angry parent just gets people's backs up.

    Lenny was a bit naive on Wednesday for taking McMoist's bait but the fact he was all over the papers and made out to be a criminal has as much to do with the latest death threats as his post match actions. I don't care if news writers or pundits say otherwise.

    Lennon won't let the idiots win but the sad truth is he'll have to put up for this for a while. The main reason he is so disliked by the Huns is that he's successful and has the beating of them and I don't see that changing any time soon no matter how low the stoop.
