Sunday 3rd Feb. Live on BBC1(?), 12.45 kick off.
Coverage starts at 12.30.
Strong team & hopefully Rogic gets a run out at some point. Maybe Gershon as well.
Zaluska
Matthews Rogne Wilson Mulgrew
Brown Kayal Ledley Commons
Hooper Stokes
On new signings: ''I'm delighted we have kept out main players and added Tom, Rami and just waiting on paperwork clearing for Viktor.''
On Tom Rogic: ''Rogic won't be in the squad but he's a strong player, he's well balanced and is intelligent. He has an eye for goal and is only 20.''
On Sunday's game: ''We have a tough game on Sunday which we will treat with the utmost respect. It was a good game against Raith Rovers at Celtic Park. It will be a smaller ground but it will be packed and a great atmosphere I'm sure. Sometimes it's nice to have a different challenge.''
On injuries: ''Forster is fit for Sunday. Forrest is in the squad. Samaras and Izaguirre are out but we're hoping they will make Juventus. Samaras suffered a small tear but we're going to be aggressive with his rehab. The medical staff are hopeful he'll make Juventus.''

That's a suprise, a good one though.
Could be a tricky game, the type where Stooper should deffo start as they are both perfect for these games.
Hope to see Tam Rogic at some point too, got a feeling he would grab a debut goal. Set a strong and hungry team out and get the job done early, please * not another cup upset last weekend took it all out me.

Give Stokes a start to fully announce his return, maybe good to do a small bit of rotation

Hi again guys. You may remember I'm the Raith fan who came on to here a few months back in the lead up to the game at CP in the League Cup. If you do remember that, then you'll remember me saying after the game how welcomed I felt by Celtic and the day/night out, despite the result, was terrific. When I read this forum on Sunday night, after Rovers have won ofcourse... :50::smiley-laughing002:, I hope to read all you Celtic supporters who are travelling through to Starks Park had a great day, and feel just as welcome as I did at your home ground.
I'm really looking forward to the game - more than likely, Celtic will win, and comfortably at that. It's a great occassion for the club and the town, I've never felt this kind of buzz for a game at Starks Park in many years. I'm hoping Celtic put out their strongest available side because it's what the day is all about; seeing quality players such as Forster, Hooper and Wanyama grace the infamous Starks Park pitch.
May the best team win and may you be made welcome in Kirkcaldy and Starks Park.
Thanks again guys,
Burty :icon_mrgreen: -

Bring in a few changes for this one, would like a fair few first teamers though, Raith caused us a few problems last time.
:Forster:Do we know anything more about Sammy and Izzy's injuries yet? I'd leave them out as a precaution regardless, hopefully they're not serious. Surely Stokes has to start this one. looked lively when he's come off the bench recently, got a good goal the other night and has a terrific partnership with Hooper. I'll be really disappointed if we don't see the two of them starting up front.

Rovers have only won one of their last 10 games. When they played at CP earlier in the season NL was obviously worried because he fielded an unusally strong team for the occasion due to them beating Ross County 1-4 in the previous round. Their defence is suspect atm, but they have Graham and Spence up front who can score goals against any team who are prone to slack defending.
