    Hence 'intimated'.

I still can't mate, we've been over this. I'm not privy to confidential information but I do have common sense.

If you think Man City are paying over double what anyone else would you are deluded.

    Prove it.

Quite odd to trawl through an internet form to get involved in something that has * all to do with you, isn't it? :56:

I said Scott Brown was * and Paddy McCourt should have played before him as well. Turns out I can't get everything right :54:

It has plenty to do with anyone who wants to get involved in discussing Sterling's move to City but is unable to on account of the thread being derailed by your bizarre ego trip.

Ehh maybe because they are the only * team to have bid you absolute mong. Are you special?

The onus is on you to prove all of these teams are bidding for him that you seem to believe are. The fact is they are not, none of them came to fruition. Where is Bayerns £50m bid, or Chelsea, Man U or Barca? The fact is, City are the only team putting in bids, the fact is if there were more teams, the press would be all over it to make more of this already popular story.

Seriously, you're wrong and you just can't back down. I can't believe you just asked me to prove teams weren't bidding for him. :56:

I'l ask Liverpool to give me a detailed list of all the teams that haven't placed a bid in for Sterling. May aswell just give me a bookie slip with every team listed from every league - bar Man City.

Didn't man utd start the bidding at 24million? Meaning more teams were in for him :56: city just paid the most.

Man United who've been linked with everyone and their granny?

There was no concrete bid, nothing more than paper talk. City have continuously bid, with concrete offers made.

You can't prove it. It's the same premise as I was being pulled up for when I suggested there were several teams willing to pay over 100k a week for his services.

I'm well aware you can't prove it, I was making a point. That has flown well over your head though by the looks of things.

What am I supposed to be wrong about, are you mixing me up with someone else? :97:

Who's to say it wasn't a concrete bid? The paper talk of the bid is more proof than what your grans telling you. You prove that paper talk was not a bid then.

£5million used to buy you a good player too, like back in 2002 or that £5million would have bought you a Charlie Austin, Robert Snodgrass or Demba Ba or someone like that. Now you are talking £10/12/15million.

Meanwhile we are still stuck spending £1/2million on players.

Raheem Sterling is set to cost Man City (€69m) more than the 10 outfield players Juventus started in the Champions League final (€67.3m)

Im not a liverpool or man city fan but I have been really irratated with this transfer. Sterling is everything thats wrong in football.

He is a young lad that thinks he's better than he is, unprofessional and is influanced by people who just want to pocket some extra money from him.

I know Liverpool have not won a title for a number of years but for * sake they are still Liverpool who are recognised world wide. Man City have won the league a couple of times recently but there will be millions of people still out there that think there is only one team in manchester (utd).

I believe Bredan Rodgers has the ability to build a great little team but has been let down by someone with nothing but respect for himself.

Hilarious to see The Gunners fan Piers Morgan attack him for his new tattoo.
