    Understandable mate.

Although, Neymar aside - I actually don't dislike any of their players. Which is a strange one after being beaten heavily twice by them.

Neymar's 'burst' of acceleration was responsible for 3 of the 4 goals for in the first half.
He has a real skill for exploiting defenders by initially slowing them down then driving past them.

Anyhow it's all good prep for Louis Moult

Hit the roof when Dembele scored! The rest was hard to watch.

It is 3 clear goals, if they won both teams on 3 points, so it comes to head to head between the 2 we won 3-0, so if they win 2-0 we have better head to head., so they need to win by 3 to draw more to get through,

Yeah take him out of the equation and I don't mind them at all.

Cavani is extremely likeable. I'd like to see him win something big after having to play second fiddle to Ibra and now the stuff with Neymar.

Exactly, mate. What do you do if you want to get better at anything in life? Play it safe and minimise your pain or put it all out there the right way, take the blows and learn?

Anyone who ever achieved anything will tell you the answer to that.
I'm off to bed (6am here); but for me if Brendan thinks these big hits are worth it in the long run to build what he is building (in spite of the fact that in the short run they are more frequent and more severe than I can ever remember), then I trust him. EL after Christmas was this year's target and we're looking good for that. I look forward to seeing what we do in the January window.

PSG would be also rans if they weren’t owned by a county with an unbelievable wealth none of those players would be playing there! Qatar as a country have bought neymar (that’s the argument from la liga) and loaned him to PSG!

    Darkness all around us
    We don't close our eyes
    No one's gonna ground us
    We were burn to fly
    Comin'at us no stopping
    Born to amplify
    Carry on my CELTIC forever
Carry On when I am gone
Carry On when the day is long
    Forever Carry On
For as long as we're together
    Then forever Carry On
    Yea, be my brother
    Fight to stay alive
All the world can't change us
    With all their burned-out jive
Come get us now we're waiting
    We won't run and hide

I agree that some people go over the top, but why is being critical of what was a woeful performance considered to be wrong?

PSG are fantastic but we gifted them 3 or 4 of their goals tonight through mistakes and shambolic defending. That's not being negative. It's the truth. I don't enjoy tearing into the team but the defense deserved it on the basis of this performance and it wouldn't have been good enough against any CL attack, never mind PSG's.

Is it only 3 goals Anderlecht need against us? They have a better goal difference.

Not that it will matter because they are getting pumped silly at a rocking Paradise.

I remember this feeling all too well, about 9 years ago or so, my beloved Sporting got pummeled by Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 in the Champions League by a a ghastly scoreline over two legs, same premise, ridiculous Bayern squad with expensive players, we couldn't compete. I hate reminding myself of it, but we got through it, Celtic will do the same. It just sucks that the financial realities between the first and second tier teams in Europe are so different. There's nothing we can really do about it except support our teams as best we can, and keep looking and moving forward. We'll play another day.

We have a better goal difference do we not?

They've only scored 1, we've scored 5. And they've been shagged silly a few times as well.

I don't think anyone has said it's wrong to criticise. In fact I'm sure everyone has been critical of the performance tonight.

It wouldn't. Our head to head would be the same and we'd be one better than them in overall goal difference.
