I take your point, but I just feel that overall the pros of playing a strong team outweigh fielding a weakened team. Either way let's just hope for no injuries and a respectable performance before Sunday!

Why aren’t we training in Paris?

If we don't play our strongest team it could be double figures FFS.

I didn’t think we could just rock up on the day. Assumed uefa would have some rules about us training there the day/night before.

I think it's up to the individual club whether they take the option of training before the game.. each home club needs to facilitate this.. seems strange we've not flown out a day earlier. Maybe we've negotiated a deal preserve their pitch keeps it 3-0 :fear:

It's better to rest until the game , rather than train following the journey.

Most of the time we take the opportunity to go early and familiarise ourselves with the pitch etc. It's not exactly far, seems odd we haven't this time..

We have been told they are forfeiting the match so it would be a waste of our time traveling :smoke:

This isn’t the first time he’s done it. It’s a regular thing.

You’re right. Just look how * PSG were after travelling all the way to Glasgow the day before and training :fear:

I trust in Brendan. It worked for Anderlecht, it will work again here! 2-1 the Hoops!!

Can see the pros and cons for it.. but you would have thought a session to get used to the surface and surroundings would be beneficial. It's not as if Paris is far so fatigue from travelling isn't an issue..

Oh well I guess BR knows best lol..
