It's still a very important game.. there's cash, reputation, confidence at stake and a duty to the traveling support..

No point saying it's pointless just because people fear the worst..

We're still playing to be seeded in the europa league which would be a huge advantage so it's anything but pointless

A respectable scoreline is all I ask..

Same tactics as Bayern at home, and team..

The main one is Anderlecht at home still..

Like the rest of you, no pumping plz. Don't expect anything unless they take their foot off the gas, but you know he who shall not be named has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to us.

See the thing is, it isn’t as dead rubber as some suggest:

    1) A positive result here can impact Europa League seedlings, resulting in a potentially more favourable draw.

    2) A positive result helps our coefficient points, gradually improving our pot in the GS and who we can draw in the qualifiers.

    3) If Anderlecht get anything against Bayern and we get nothing against PSG, that will set up a very nervy game in matchday 6 where any defeat knocks us out of Europe altogether. I know it’s unlikely, but it’s a real possibility.

If we play as good as we did against Bayern at home, there’s a small chance we could scrape a draw. Hopefully PSG will play a second string team, be nowhere near as relentless, and allow us to play with a bit more freedom.

Like everyone else, I'm hoping that we can secure a draw, but most of all don't want anything to happen that will rock the confidence of the team or that will threaten our advance to the Europa League. More than anything, I can't wait until this match is behind us and we won't have to face their multi-squillion euro squad of mercenary rats again, or at least not until next year's Champions League where we'll, no doubt, have to face them, Barca, and our great friends Legia Warsaw.

Not to mention the fact that we haven't even qualified for the Europa league yet.

We can only improve by challenging the best and they're currently one of the best sides in the world. Heavy favourites they may be, but if we managed to keep it tight and get the first goal, then we'll have a chance.

    Sadly, I think we'll lose.

Don't think we will win, but can't see us losing or drawing either.

I'd take a narrow 1-1 defeat right now.
