Premiership fans arrogance has spread to the Championship

It has twice as many teams as the SPL of course it should have more fans, and many of the stadiums have been built on Premiership money, think how many of these clubs have made the £37million just on being in the Premiership for a season and going down. The football is still *, Ache is making the point that the actual product, not all the Sky-endorsed niceties that sugarcoat it and talk it up, is *.

 

It's easy for us to say we'd stay with Celtic cos we're Celtic fans but if you're Gary Hooper or whoever it would be different as it's your career I'm sure the SPL would become tiresome at some stage. In this case I'd say Hooper is better staying with us as he is still young and is a bit of a hero with us at the moment. He's already played in the Championship too.

 

If Gary Hooper were to leave Celtic, it would need to be for one of the top 5 teams in the league, such as United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea (ugh), Tottenham, or maybe Sunderland, if MON takes them into Europe.

Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth his while, aside from an extra 10k a week or whatever.

 

Agreed. I'd be gutted if he became prolific with us then left like McDonald and disappeared with a struggling Championship team or bottom EPL team.
