Potential Manager Suggestions?

I think he’d have stood a good chance of taking over had Rodger’s reign ended differently. He’s certainly highly rated, but to be honest I wouldn’t touch him now after how that whole debacle ended.

We also need a manager who demands the instant respect of our squad. I don’t think someone with no experience in the hot seat can do that to be honest unless it’s a huge name (which Davies isn’t).

 

I don't hold any ill will towards Davies. It is natural for assistant managers to move on when managers do. He owed his loyalty to Rodgers more than Celtic.

I think that your second point is correct though. We need someone who is more established at this time.

Is there a younger version of Trapattoni out there? Cyncical, weird, but gets the job done.

 

Marco Silva, Leo Jardim, Eddie Howe, Stale Solbakken are a few without jobs at the moment.

 

Alex Neil(ex Accies) at Preston never seems to get a mention despite doing a good job there with limited resources. Did well at Norwich too I think. He a hun or something?

 

Eddie Howe would be my choice, realistic target and sets him teams up to play good football. Only issue is it's a big step up for him in terms of pressure and he done better with a lower budget at Bournemouth, he gets the best out of mediocre players.

 

Eddie Howe would be uninspiring. Did well with Bournemouth, for the most part. But they were flirting with relegation for a while before they eventually went down last season.

And his transfer record was dreadful. Spent millions on absolute *.

Aye that's my worry as well, he done best with lower league players and youths. Doubt he'd get much to spend here anyway.
