Still * off over the whole Howe debacle, both sides to blame there.Starting to warm to the Ange speculation, only just read that he’s won Oz and Japan leagues and Asia Cup with Oz national team.Only worry is his lack of experience in European leagues. If we do this we’d need a top DOF and scouts ASAP Fergal Harkin etc.

    Australians are funny, funny, guys.

Trying to extol the virtues of this geezer as if he’s been managing on Mars and no one can google the fact his team finished 9th in Japan and lost more games than it won last season.

A dead duck, a damp squib, a theoretical classroom coach not living in the real world. In short, not good enough.

People just don’t know, what they don’t know.

Think I’ll take the words of the City Group than football fans who’ve never heard of Ange,

“Damian Willoughby, senior vice-president of partnerships at City Group, told The World Game last month: “Ange is a phenomenal coach and has done an exceptional job at Yokohama.

“When Manchester City played Yokohama in a pre-season game at Nissan Stadium a couple of years ago it was not only a great game for a pre-season friendly but it was hard at times to separate Manchester City from Yokohama in terms of the style of play. He is one of the leading coaches in the world.” “

Are you the guy that was on twitter saying Mark Viduka was a better striker than Henrik Larsson?

Exactly, another 2nd rate no mark. If he was so good he would have been in Europe long before now.

One of the leading coaches in the world is languishing mid table in Japan having lost 15 league games last season.

How bizarre. It’s almost as if the guy talking about him is his workmate and colleague at the same employer.

Would be too hilarous if Lawwell tries to hire a cheap yes man and gets a guy who actually doesn't let the hierarchy pushing him around :giggle1:

This whole scenario reminds me of the movie "this is spinal tap " hilarious and trying to put positive spin on lowering expectations .

Yeah I guess that can happen in a competitive league when you are coaching the team which is comparable to coaching the likes of Kilmarnock or Livingston.

Gets the maximum out of players which is more than can be said for Lennon’s crap.

They’re owned by Nissan and City Group and play in a 73k capacity stadium.

They couldn’t be further away from Kilmarnock and Livingston if they tried.

And yet with those owners they still only have a budget that is about 10th-12th highest in the league.

I have no means to verify that but regardless if it were the case he’s managed to make them finish exactly where they should be. Mid-table also-rans.

What an achievement for one of the worlds greatest coaches.

Sorry, we’ve to take the word of City Group that this guy is a top coach?

    Didn’t they employ Deila?

If we hire this guy then our last two managers will be the sacked Bolton and Hibs boss and an Australia national team manager languishing mid table in the Japanese league.

We deserve better. We pay a premium for better.

Get these * so far to *.
