The league is done if we stick with NL and we're out of Europe. We could appoint anyone and it couldn't get much worse.

Think the biggest issue is we still have Lawwell in a de facto DOF role when he knows the square root of * all about football.

We need a clear structure from.board level of who runs the football operations, and a manager who is used to working in such a setup.

As far as the manager goes, I would take anyone who has a track record of defensive organisation and coaches a high intensity pressing game. We have quality players especially going forward, but they need organised and their fitness levels improved. Get that squad fit, drilled and hungry in every game and we win the league, simple as that.

European will be a long term project given our current showings.

Clarke won’t take it. He publicly said he hates the sectarianism.

This thread is useless lennon isn't going to walk hes not going to be sacked well Labour a win in Sunday and we will persist with him like trying to force a square block into a triangle shaped hole until its too late biggest season in years and this is how it's going we have no identity the board see it sadly they don't care kills me to say but watching the tribute act they can score at any time teams oozing confidence we need to make a change just read brown say its not Lennys fault that's our captain not seeing our caring what is going on

Damien Duff seems to have impressed everyone when he was here. Well liked and respected by the players.
He would be a better interim option for manager than a Strachan father and son act imo.

Looking back, think a lot of supporters including myself, didn't want Moyes in, as the football would have been dire. How times change. Would never have been easily dominated at home by very average sides, look so unorganized or unfit. How we could do with someone like him to organise us and getting playing a team.

I can see it being a Marco Silva or that Flores dude who managed Watford.

Someone who essentially failed in the EPL. Can't see someone like Eddie Howe coming here he will be waiting for a sacking at a EPL side and going there.

Sanchez Flores, silva and Howe shouldn’t be impossible.

We need to show the ambition, arguably more now, that we showed when getting Rodgers in.

That type of level would immediately impact our domestic form, Europe is a write off, I'm * done with it.

Truth is though, all us posters on this entire forum have better odds of each of us winning the euro lottery once each before the year is done before the board ever show such ambition to secure the 10iar.

Aye, he's said that allegedly, but I wonder if he was actually asked the question, could he turn the job down ? I doubt it

Clarke is an interesting choice, states he doesn't like the sectarianism, but happily manages National squad.

Still though, I'd not have him on the shortlist of new managers

Well as the brilliant Nazareth song suggest we can all “Dream on”, because NL is going nowhere and he won’t be sacked in the short term either.

I don't think 2 managers would work tbh.
