But if we do then a draw between Ajax and Barcelona means we can qualify for the Last 16 with a historic 6 points, despite losing in the Camp Nou, as long as it's a draw in the Milan-Ajax game.

Then we draw with Barca and Ajax draw with Milan

Barca finish on 13 points
Celtic finish on 7 points
Milan finish on 6 points
Ajax finish on 6 points

 

Then we, Milan and Ajax are all on 6 points?

I don't understand why some still favour a Celtic/Barca win tonight over a Celtic/Draw. I'm not saying we couldn't get a draw against a fringe Barcelona team, but the above scenario still requires a draw in the Milan-Ajax game, so why not make it simple and wish we can be in the situation where we can lose and qualify for the Last 16 with just 6 points?

If somebody wins in the final Milan-Ajax game, then we'd need to win in the Camp Nou anyway, so if realistically we're relying on them drawing we might as well be in a situation where hypothetically Celtic losing 6-0 to Barcelona wouldn't matter one iota.

Regardless, we need to win and if we win; any non-Ajax win tonight guarantees us Europa League football as a bare minimum.

Anyonew who wants a Barca win tonight (assuming we win) doesnt know what they are talking about and havent done their research properly.

If we win toinight, there is no scenario where a Barca win against Ajax is better than a Barca draw.

 

Let's get it right so people would rather we expect a draw in last day with ac Ajax are you lot mad !

 

Its not that we 'expect' a draw on last day between Milan and Ajax, it just gives us more 'outs' to qualify if they do draw, IF if Barca draw tonight with Ajax!!!!
