Let me just start off by saying that that I am as disappointed with that game today as anyone else. The way both teams were going I honestly felt we were going to pump them, but alas it was not meant to be.
Now the game is over and we have time to reflect on our first dropped points of the season since Inverness and point out any weaknesses or changes that need to be made.
But more importantly than all that, we are now in an interesting position regrading the semi-final and winning the treble. Last seasons semi-final i'm sure we all remember well. We were in a very similar position before the game as we were before today. Sevco were in the championship, a league which they failed to get promoted from the league before. Celtic were dominating the league as per usual, no surprises there. All the media had backed us, all the pundits backed us, and all the fans were sure we were going to steamroll the Huns on the way to our Scottish Cup.
We arrived at Hampden and what we got on the pitch was nothing short of shocking. The players showed no passion or fight, almost like they expected to win with ease. The Orcs on the other hand were right up for it after being subjected to the "Celtic are pure too strong" media bullshite ever since the draw, basicilly what has been happening yet again for the past week.
Now the Huns think they have they upper hand. "Oh we got a draw at Celtic Park, we can defos win at Hampden like last season!" where as most Celtic fans will be secretly thinking "...ah *". We know we should win, but will we? However, perhaps this doubt and uncertainty could favor us even more. Imagine the contrast of the media and pundits compared to today's and last season's games. We will see some plonkers claiming that Rangers have the upper hand and that they will repeat last season, the players will think they have closed the gap and that they are now on our level, the fans will be arrogant and confident instead of the usual "Hope we can sneak a draw"
Basically what i am trying to say is that not only will our managment team and players be more prepared for this semi-final and the rest of our games this season in order to preserve our unbreaten run, but i could also see the Sevco media, pundits and fans showing some optimism for this next game which will favor us massively, which they wouldn't have gotten if we won 7-0 today. In my opinion we couldn't have picked a better moment to drop points for the second time. This game will prove to be a blessing in disguise.
Hail Hail. Forward to an unbeaten treble :brendy::shamrock:

33 points clear 10 games left.
They're celebrating a draw. Small club mentality

Exactly, these were my thoughts.
This kick up the * is what we perhaps needed to go into the all important semi-final taking nothing fore granted and get a result.
The mutants WILL think they have the upper hand and WILL demand their team beat us.
It will also give us an indication of what their new manager will have them playing.packybhoy likes this. -

Positive is that we are still unbeaten and didn't lose. Also that we are 33 points clear and those * are closer to Inverness than they are us. They are celebrating a draw in the way a St Johnstone or Motherwell would. Mid table mentality.
We didn't turn up and we allowed them to come back into it rhe last 20 mins. Didn't create enough clear cut chances all day. We also weren't helped by the officials once again but not going to get into that.
Rather a wake up call today than one in a months time at Hampden. -

The main positive to take from today is that the players now know they will have to do more than just turn up against Sevco to win in the Scottish Cup Semi final. Drawing with them today isnt a big deal in the grand scheme of things, however if we were to get beat in the semi that would be much more difficult to take.

We're still unbeaten, have an insurmountable league lead, and this will help to kill any complacency for the cup tie. Those are some pretty massive silver linings.

Might end up working well for us, yeah.
Their new manager is an unknown factor too. Murty did well to get the best out of a * team and played a smart system.
Pedro might * that up and try to make a name for himself by trying to have them play like Barca against us, who knows. -

That game was a bit like the cup semi-final last season only we scored first this time. On that day we knew it would depend on which Celtic turned up
