Considering we're expected to win the match, aye :bbpd:

The rest of your post explains it all.

I am not suggesting you are not fan. However why state Scottish football is boring and dead without r*ngers. Then in another post say you watch all games you can and are even travelling to Glasgow for a game on New Years Day against one of the poorer SPFL teams. Doesn't make sense to me.

I'm actually travelling over new years to see my family who lives there but managed to squeeze the game into my schedule, so it's not only for the game tbh. :celt_2: I might have overreacted a bit on it, but I do miss the competition in the league, you know. I was raised to hate the huns, don't get me wrong, but I miss the feeling of an old firm game day.

I am in total agreement with you about lack of competition and I do miss having a rival for the SPFL Title. That said I have no urge to see r*ngers back in this league would much prefer Aberdeen or Dundee Utd to strengthen and become our rivals.

Enjoy your visit and enjoy the Ne'er Day Glasgow Derby.

We're expected to win every game we play in the league, aren't we? :56: Why am I a glory hunter for Celtic being the only club I support? :97:

Thanks and agreed. :50: Would probably prefer Dundee utd or Aberdeen taking a step up in quality rather than the huns.

Don't think there's any doubt that the lack of competition has caused the low attendances.. That's it though. Lack of competition... Not lack of deed huns..

    I was being sarcastic :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002:

Our league is a lot better than most people give it credit for.

Probably should have got that since I tend to be sarcastic all the time.:smiley-laughing002:

And yeah, have to agree with that. The English especially make it out worse than it actually is. The fact that we have to play three qualification rounds to reach the CL group stages really is a disgrace as well.

If the football on the pitch is at the level we should be playing at every week, like the 7-0 and 5-0 wins which we should be doing easily week in week out, then attendances would be better, give it another 2 seasons and Dundee United, Aberdeen and Hibs will give us better competition, it will solve its self by teams wanting to challenge for European football, WE DON'T NEED OR WANT SEVCO, Scottish football will be better without them eventually.

Tomorrow's article will be an EXCLUSIVE telling us that the fans who are staying away from Parkhead are in fact now going to Ibrox to watch the Sevconians.

My problem with the article is that it seems to assume that lack of competition and lack of rangers in the league are one in the same. What are the MSM going to say when der huns are 5th in the league in there 3rd season at the SPFL? Celtic need to give them money to even it out? You might laugh but I wouldn't put it past these *.

At least the now we can just laugh at there 90th minute penalties as it doesn't effect us. Will it be so funny when they are getting them in the SPFL?

    Careful what you wish for.

yeah i agree he's probably got no love for the hun himself but he knows that the management at the paper are and that the hun readers will lap this * up

the press in scotland are obviously either hun related or are pandering to them to sell papers! its got to be one or the other or maybe even both :50:

Exactly. I still don't forget all those Celtic v Oldco games when I was raging for days after because they won after being awarded at least one token penalty and we would get men sent off for * all on a regular basis.

Not just against us, they got it against every team in the SPL as well. Like Sevco are getting now. The amount of penalties they get for nothing down there is disgusting. Which I am sure will be increased now after Dallas's blunder of not giving them more freebies against Stranraer.

Is it? All it has got going for it is that the also-rans have a competitive fight below us. A bit like Usain Bolt running 100m against a bunch of fifty year olds. We'll see in the summer again how good the other teams are when they are all pumped out of Europe in the prelims and qualifiers.
