Robson. He kickstarted the midfield when we needed it most. It would've been a joint vote for him and Hartley.

Robson and Hartley being brought in was the turning point for me so i think the two of them deserve a lot of the credit.

I honestly dont see how people can vote for Robson, who only played half a season at our club, ahead of the likes of Boruc, McGeady, McManus, Caldwell, Hesselink, McDonald. Guys who were key to the first half of the season. So what a vote like that says to me, even with a 'handicap' like that he still did better that all those above. He was good, but not that good.

You have to look at the position we were in just before Robson and Hartley were brought in. The team looked utterly devoid of confidence and looked as if they had given up. The fact that Robson was exactly what we needed to counter that, given his style and visible desire to win, is the main reason imo we were able to pick ourselves up and believe in ourselves again.

In short if Robson hadn't been given his chance, i doubt anyone else had it in them to lift the team's spirits in order for us to win the league.

We had lost in ibrox and then at home to Motherwell and then half our support had lost their bottle, not the players. Dont confuse the two.

hard to decide which one because the whole team contributed in the last 7 games. I voted for Skippy though because he scored the most goals for us.

Samaras did play a vital part in the win as his goals were critical. Someone earlier said he only started this season which is wrong.

For me it has to be Nakamura and his goal vs Rangers. When that happened I knew we were in the hunt and only he had the class to pull it off.

If we had no Naka, we wouldn't have won the league. Perhaps also true if we had no Robson.

All of you who now want to see him go in January might just regret that sentiment in April.

I voted for McDonald. I assumed it was McDonald I was voting for.
    Anyway, his goals were priceless.

i said samaras because some of his goals were vital, like the header against motherwell. But other players scored vital goals as well so it was a really hard choice, also could've been JVOH, McDonald & Robson

I was referring to the performances we had been putting in most of the season which had seen us scrape through many of the games with great difficulty, and eventually wasn't even getting us results anymore.

I remember the Old Firm game you mention, and how most of the people i know were throwing in the towel when we got beat, but i really was certain we were still in the hunt. Then after the Motherwell defeat when it looked even less likely we could do it, and even less people gave us a chance, i still said we would be champions.

The reason i was still confident was because up until the Rangers game we were simply rank but the character we showed that day, we should have been 3 or 4 up by half time, was exactly what we all wanted to see no matter how confident we were of winning the league. It's no coincidence that it was around this time Robson and Hartley were put in the middle of the park.

Has to be Mc Geady he gave his attacking situations from nowhere when we needed it most but skippy was my close second :86:
