* me what a disappointment!

Not sure it will help any, as I posted above one of our controllers broke and we had to send it back to Sony, they said it would take 3 weeks.
We actually got a new controller delivered in about 10 days.

Hopefully you have it very soon but again, what a disappointment!

 

Cheers mate aye he doesn’t know yet as at school so expecting a tantrum and tears! What’s * me off though is Sony have said it will be a refurbished console the thing is brand * new man unreal!

 

Itll be someone who's had the same issue. Someone else will get yours once repaired and so on. Pain in the * but in reality it's new.

 

Hope so mate. It has power going to it, you press the eject button and it makes the wee sound but it can’t seem to get going if that makes sense

 

This is a nightmare, the wean will be rightly gutted.

Mate i had an issue like that when i first connected mine, i thought it was *.
Turns out the tv went funny when i plugged the hdmi into it.
I had to unplug everything from the wall and start it all up again. You can start the PS in safe mode if you hold in the power button for 7 seconds.

Tried that mate then tried it again with my hdmi and power cable from Xbox series X whilst guy was on phone from Sony he said it’s DOA and needs sent back to be replaced

Honestly wee man came home from school totally buzzing then totally deflated but I got it boxed up and posted away today so they should get it Monday so hopefully a quick turnaround

Ahh I remember that well. I had 4 die on me. I did play a * of a lot more back then though. I actually only had to send one away to be repaired/replaced by Microsoft, it was a fortnight for it to come back but they collected it if I remember right. This is rotten but I worked in blockbuster at the time and the other times I just switched out my 360 with a traded in/pre owned one in the back

 

Pretty sure they'll open the box, try it out and send it on to the repair department.

They will then send you back a repaired system, I would still see it as a new ps5.
It will be a system that just had a broken chip somewhere and that has now been fixed.

2 weeks from now someone will get your ps5 that has been repaired sent to them.

Actually better that way as you get the system sooner.

I still have a Nintendo DSI XL I bought from that one. It was massive, the store not the Nintendo despite the "XL" in the name hehe
