    Aye, full squad and management team wiped out. Can't really recover from that. Think the Man Utd Munich one only a few people died and back then nobody really spent money on players so you could rebuild. Now with squads of 25 players and a lot of players costing a lot of money you can't see how they can recover.

    Its hard to see how they can have a season off. It will most likely be a mix of youth players and loan players for next season. Still clubs, from outside Brazil at least, should be very generous with loan players.

    Last time this happened in South America Alianza Lima's squad was wiped out and as a result they got a mix of youth players and a lot of loan players from Colo Colo. Sadly they suffered hugely and woundn't win another league title for 18 seasons.

    They should be given some kind of special allowances though, maybe opposition teams playing them need to use under 21 squads or something rather than their real team for the first 2 or 3 seasons.

    Mário Sérgio, earned 8 caps for Brazil, won the Brazilian league with Internacional and the Intercontinetal Cup with Grêmio. Was going to cover the game for FOX TV and died in the crash. RIP
