Your bad what? Hair day? Dose of the runs? Use of our language?

It's part of a sentence. Finish your sentences please. :31:

I hate the misuse of the word literally. Figuratively is the correct word to use. ie, ''I've got such a bad headache, my head literally feels like exploding'' would be wrong. Replace it with figuratively and it's correct. As you say, instant sign of an idiot.

Another one is when people say 'could of' or 'would of' when they mean 'could have' or 'would have'.

Constant use of cockney rhyming slang * me off as well.

People in general just * me off.

I must come across as an *. :icon_mrgreen:

Perfectly legitimate word that is in the OED

    http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/bouncebackability

Though I wonder how many people who use it know that it was made up by Iain Dowie and made it into OED after a campaign by Soccer AM to have it used more :icon_mrgreen:

"Thanks muchly" makes me ill. I saw it used on here first actually and it made me die a little on the inside. Not seen this for a while but its cringeworthy..."luff n stuff". i also think its daft when on here people say "welcome to the club" n thing like that when we sign players as if they are saying it to thr player themselves, its just stupid.

They could be saying "could've", "would've", rather than "could of".

Text speak fries my head on computers. Its easier for me to write properly than type the way some of the messages in my inbox are constructed, would take me ages.

...the worrying thing about this is that its all crossing over to the mainstream.

One employer I know who regularly has to interview folk told me some incredible stories about what the average young person puts on a job application and the level of spelling is atrocious, he reckons only about 30-40% of applications he gets are spelling mistake free and text speak free, I find that depressing!

People posting holidays statues like these:

"Booked my holiday, only 364 days to go"

    And then updating it everyday

All the Gym statues too get on my nerves.

Another site that's full of * is Instagram... Even worse, you've got people taking pictures of fruit at different angles getting thousands of comments about it.
