just bought this added the real teams and kits .something that * me off about pes i wish someone would tell them that the san siro and giuseppe meazza stadium are the * same stadium .could have had celtic park in there

The Celtic strip I have loaded up in PES the year is sexual and the gameplay is * amazing.

FIFA is still a solid game but its clear its peaked a couple of years back and we are seeing small tweaks to "improve" the game.

Plus the Celtic kit in FIFA - with the big silly * FC Foundation circle on it, means I can't play with it. Looks rotten.

FIFA in general for licensing and presentation. PES for gameplay. It's really quite simple this year to choose one or the other.

 

I'm not sure which road to go down here.

FIFA was the game to have back on PS1. Then Pro Evo came on the scene and from around PES 2 to PES 6, that was the game to have.

Then FIFA overtook and PES had some seriously infuriating bugs in the game. Mainly inept referees, slow as * goalies to release the ball and totally ineffective tackling whilst running back.

This saw me go to FIFA for a while.

The licences and all are great but it's the gameplay which is key.

If only Blockbusters came back for a weekend so I could rent them both to find out which is best.

 

Not a chance. International Super Star Soccer was better than anything Fifa made on the PS1.

 

FIFA was rank rotten on ps1, I think the only half-decent FIFA on it was "Road to World Cup '98" the rest were bollocks. ISS was a far superior game, in fact there were a few football games on ps1 that took FIFA to the cleaners: Total Football and Ronaldo V-football inculded

 

Adidas Power Soccer as well.

ISS 98 was probably a better game than even FIFA on the PS2.

I played my first online games today of PES, like the game a lot, it is a good game again. Played 5 games online won 1 drew 2 and lost 2.

 

And Actua Soccer.

Huge fan of PES this year, it plays like a football game should play. FIFA is going down the last gen PES road

 

this is football was better than both of them easily

 

That's the one I was thinking of when I said "Total Football"
