That tribalfootball.com comes out with some amount of pish every day. Saying that, I'd expect clubs of Barca / Real ilk to be interested in him

Seems to be true. i personally saw GS at Russia - Spain game in Innsbruck. Dont think he was following Villa or Torres :) Should have made an offer to Spartak after last years CL tie, too late now...

I think Darren Bent would be a great signing. He scored a goal every other game for Charlton and he was just unlucky that Spurs who have no real transfer policy signed him when they had Berbatov (one of the highest rated strikers in the world) and Keane (the club captain) infront of him.

I would rather see him sign than Pavlychenko as he is mobile and very fast. He scored his goals at Charlton in a 451 formation which would be ideal for CL ties. I think our team still lacks a bit of pace about it and he would bring that.

I'm not doubting they're interested. I was just saying that tribalfootball.com is usually pure gash.

Bent would be a terrific signing on a loan deal.I don't think he's on 80k a week because as far as I know Spurs have a relatively low wage cap.I can't really see him leaving England though because it would probably kill his international ambitions an half the EPL probably want him on loan as well.I'd be amazed and I would take my hat off to Peter Lawwell if we managed it.

I think Pavlyuchenko is a bit of a pipe dream. There's so much money in Russian football right now so he's probably on huge wages. It would be a bit of a sidewards move for him as well.

I think there is more chance nailing jelly to a balloon than us getting either of them but hope I'm wrong.

don't believe it. Pavlyuchenko is great plus he is at the Euros and the Russians like to use anything to boost the price tag. eg Ivanovic cost Chelsea £9.7m, yet hasn't even played a game for them, just because he had a couple of good games for Locomotiv. having said that, looking at other teams, the valuations seem to be correct. Arshavin is worth £13m and Tymoschuk is £12m on the Zenit page. Bystrov valuated at £4m. i'd put a £10m offer in for Bystrov and Pavlyuchenko asap WGS.

haha and to think some Rangers fan commented on one of Pavlyuchenko's YouTube vids that he was 'going to sign for Rangers'. lol like they could afford him. they can only spend £3m max on a single player.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
They were also responsible for giving me many days of constant laughter after Tore Andre though!!
Still the funniest story is when Advocaat wanted a young guy by the name os Shevchenko, but the board wouldn't back him for 6 million. Good ambition - THAT decision worked out well!!

I agree with you - not at all sure about those prices quoted. If they aer / were anywhere near close, i'd take Roman P in a second (as well as Weliton if he has a legit work permit - big talent).

Any of these 2 guys would be terrific signing, would love to see Darren Bent up here, another english man with a point to prove just like Sutton And Thompson.
