    Russian, do you have a source for this? If true it would be great news. We are able to compete with £7m and as for Bologna, in fairness we blow them out of the water.

    either player would be class (preferably Pavlyuchenko). if we get both, i'd be over the moon.

    There's not even a contest between Pavlyuchenko and Pogrebnyak, the latter is 24 and has been at 7 clubs already. The former looks to me to be a superb footballer; big, strong, fast and deadly in the penalty box.

    Ok imo if we get rid of Graveson and Balde we have 70 grand spare of wages... we can bid for Pavlyuchenko for 7-8 million and offer him 50 k a week...

    Zhirkov is a great player with a huge talent and potential.But he isn't a defender, he is midfielder.Yuri plays in defence only in national team (because we haven't enough good defenders).
    I think it would be difficult to Celtic to buy him,for example Roma offered 10 mln for him, but CSKA has turned down this offer.

    Certainly yes.It is the main theme in Spartakforum and some information had appeared in newspapers.But Spartak's president has said, that there are nooffers to the club for Pav.

    P.S. Pavlyuchenko has said, that if he'll go from Spartak, he'll go to a top club, thats why Bologna has no chanses to get him.
