    Sad to see that Telfer had to leave before the run in. Hopefully everything is ok for him at home. He made a very significant contribution this season to our success and will be very deserving of his league winners medal when he gets it to add to last years league and league cup medals. Solid pro and a class act as a person the way he handled himself off the field while at Celtic.

    what i ment by that is people genraly give forgin people more time and genraly like the idea of them signing more than a uk name. look at naylor. NO ONE wanted him. they all wanted this other forgine guy. naylors in the running for player of the season.
    everyone was calling for neil lennon, paul telfer, kenny missers head but no one mentions how SHOCKING jiri is.

    I thought Telfer recieved an unfair amount of stick by some of the fans, not the sexiest player on the planet, but a dependable consistent player who's work rate and commitment could never be questioned.
    He was signed last minute as cover, and in my mind did a fine job for Celtic, better than that money grabbing * Agathe did under Strachan.
    Good luck to Telfer, a solid pro and good squad player that we'll have to replace in the summer.
