Strange one this. Could we get him until the end of CL qualifying rounds or would that make him ineligible for Man City in the groups? Probably wouldn't be getting a game for them anyway mind?

We got denayer for the season for £400,000 so i would expect a lot less tbh!

But it's pointless as GMS, Allan or Christie will suffer, man city ain't sending him here to sit on our bench that's for sure!

There is no way we will be loaning to buy. He cost them £12million. There's no way we would be paying a future fee anywhere near what they would want and in and around our budget (£3million max). Unless he is a total pudding.

Remember YouTube can make anyone look world class - even Islam Feruz (check his video out!).

There is nothing in this for us. We don't need him for SPFL so we will be developing another City player.
Absolutely stupid on our part when we should be developing our own - regardless of how 'exciting and World Class' this boy might be.

We can get him for the qualifiers without him being cup tied for City in the Group stages.

Would only want this as an 18 month loan deal. We need to be building towards the qualifiers.

Would you accept it until the end of August? Meaning he's in the qualifiers? That's the minimum I'd be happy with.

Think he's a left winger too... Which is what we need. Then I'd maybe play Armstrong in place of Johansson.

Aye, as long as we're building towards the qualifiers I'm happy.

This is all I can think of, if this happens mate. Hopefully I'm not wrong because if I am then RD would have a lot to answer for.

Really hope it's until end of August or I feel it's just holding us back and not doing us any favours at all.

Check YouTube mate... Not the best way but all you really have to go by just now.

    City paid £12 million.

I've a mate who's a huge City fan, and follows their youths and everything. When I told him I'd reservations about us taking the lad for just 4months he rolled his eyes and said "yeah, but he's an absolutely phenomenal talent. If you can get him fit it'll be well worth it".

Must admit, that didn't have the desired effect of making me want this loan any more than I already did, because it sounds like we could spend even a month or so getting him match ready. That said, when we did that we'd be adding a player for the run-in who'd be upskilling our squad in time for the Scottish Cup end (hopefully), as we tie up the treble.

Very torn on this loan. Head says take the talent if it's available, but my heart says this 'patch' loan will do us no good at all on the longer scale...

Surely this will have the potential to continue into next season if all goes well. Can't see him breaking into man city's first team next season. This could work out extremely well.

He looks amazing if we're being honest...

Only want him if it's until at least after qualifiers though. If it's not then it's not benefiting our team. We're the best in Scotland with what we have, so the only way he'd be of any use, is Europe.

I wonder if De Bruyne's injury might stop the loan negotiations.
