Get in! Will be hugely important, one of those players who can open up the tightest of defences we may come up against int he qualifiers!

If I was BR, I'd be telling him that he'll be sitting on MC's bench if he puts in another shift like the semi final... Absolutely woeful.

Saying that, I actually rate him. That day, he was * horrible though.

He actually started well though, he was one of our bigger threats going forward until that miss, it clearly * his confidence and he seemed to struggle to get over it. If that goes in he probably goes on to run riot like Stokes did against them.

I'm sure Rodgers won't even contemplate mentioning a random semi final to him he played * in a * team performance.

Not even sure why it's being brought up actually :97:

Don't know why that's being mentioned at all. He played well when he came on.

Edit: thought this was the Rogic thread. Yeah Roberts had a bad game in the semi but everyone has bad games.

    What a pathetic headline. :56:

Acting like it's a GIRFUY to the English FA/national team, when they've agreed to it.

Just leave the managing of young talented players to BR and you just stick to being Wanyama's boaby.

Aye cause telling a teenage boy that if he plays another bad game he's getting chucked is exactly the way to develop him :smiley-laughing002:

I didnt think he done that bad in the semi either, in extra time anyway he was slaughtering Tavernier and Wallace every time he went near them.

I thought he did have a poor game to be honest. Going forward he didn't offer much, and defensively, he left Lustig very exposed. It was a shocking performance from the team in general though.

    Love it.:50:

As a couple of people said, I'm quite surprised at how down to earth he is. It'd be easy for him to have a big ego but he's quite the opposite.

Now just tell City you're staying here after next season.

If Rodgers can make Sterling a 50 million quid winger think what he's capable of with a guy that has vastly more natural talent in Roberts.

Big boost if he's available for the early European games.
