    I'm sure I read that theonly qualifiers he'd miss is the first set. He could miss that tbh. That's usually against duffers.

    Ideally we'd want him playing the first qualifiers aganst the * teams as he could stick a few goals by them and go into the other games more confident.

    Said after the last Dundee game too but the one thing Roberts has to learn is how to vary his play, so many opportunities one on one to take the full back on down the outside tonight but just cut inside every single time even when the game was stretched and he would have had a huge amount of space to run into if he had beaten the defender down the line.

    Brilliant player to watch on the ball. Reminds me of Arjen Robben in style as well as that wee Argentinian. Always looking to come inside and get a shot away, technique is excellent.

    His development is one thing I am hugely excited about for next season.

    Someone like Elyounoussi or McGeady on the other side would really put us up a level, for me.

    He looks a level above Maloney and McGeady when they played for us, more vision, better ball control, quicker feet, nicer range of shooting and passing/crossing.

    Not sure if he'll ever be Man City class though, Could imagine him being a David Silva style player for a team like Everton though.

    He's class. His touch, low centre of gravity and the way he manipulates the ball and entices the defender, is like nothing else in our game just now..

    Frightening how good he WILL become..

    Just stay off the out swinging corners and let's hope he doesn't end up another of a long line of Celtic player's who fall foul of the 300-500 appearance hack men..

    I don't see why not.

    If you are going to compare him to anyone already at City then it has to be Sterling and not Silva. I think he could challenge him given time and a couple years experience in that league.

    He has all the attributes.

    Praying we are still going in for him. He is like Roberts but on the other side, carries a terrific goal threat and would take pressure off Griffiths.

    I fear we might be too late, though.
