GMS has looked quality lately in terms of dribbling the ball out of midfield and carrying it in to the final third - just his end product letting him down . If Roberts can get to grips with Ronny's amazing and complex philosophies then i wouldn't mind seeing him and GMS on either wing , plenty of pace and directness in the team. Could see a welcome break from watching us pass it sideways in slow motion .

 

If i know Ronny , and i think i do , GMS will be dropped/rested/rotated for no particular reason , regardless of his good form and will be scarcely seen again until the summer.

 

He should be in the squad for Saturday.

 

Looking forward to seeing this lad. Hopefully he's good at crossing the ball.

 

Sounds like him and Janko could suit each other, with Janko hitting the byline.

Pleasure to have this caliber of young player about the place for an extended spell.

Ronny won't play him, and after hearing him the other day, more so now.

Can see Guardiola coming in the summer, clearing out a lot of dead wood at City and taking him back in the summer.

The 18 month loan isn't worth the paper it's written on, and our non-use of him will cement that fact.

He might not turn out better than we have, but with the current state of them there is no excuse not to bring him in.

 

What? We wouldn't have taken him on an 18 month loan if City were able to recall him in the summer. He will be here for 18 months.

 

Yes I would think we will probably see him on the bench this weekend. I am certainly looking forward to seeing him in action. Hopefully he turns out to be as exciting to watch play as many are saying of him.

 

City will be able to recall him at any time , as with most loan agreements.
