Seen a few games with him at Sunderland last season and there’s still a player there , if he comes then I still think we get a lw as well , maybe the vata rumours are true and he does probably does see maeda as a striker ,

think haksa will be away also so if that’s what rogers maybe sees and we can’t fully rely on Forrest with injuries and even if maeda was seen as a winger he will be away for the Asian cup so does leave us short. Roberts can play Rodger’s systems and wouldn’t cost too much

also the thing I liked about roberts as a winger was he didn’t need space to run into he was very good in tight spaces which we come up against a lot on Scottish football

Think he'd be the signing of the season tbh. Folk hate it because he's been and done it. Some players really just work with certain clubs. I think he's that kind aswel. Like jota, he'll end up pish elsewhere yet a star here. We fit his game perfectly. Practice just attacking all the time. Imo get it done.
