Patrick Roberts!

Dont want to get into a debate where im questioning his commitment as i think he has been great for us this year.All im saying is if he,s that committed to us then stay with us. We are a big club and for someone at this stage of his carer we should be perfect for him.I would be sick if he left us and ended up at some * second rate team trying to avoid relegation.

 

Again im not questioning his commitment id just like to hear him say i want to stay rather than all these crptic quotes im hearing .I mean as good as the lad is at this stage of his carer he,s still learning and we are a perfect fit for him and i hope he sees that and doesn't end up going to some * second rate epl team. Im not trying to be a smart * but How would you feel if he ended up at someone like stoke on loan instead of returning to us?

 

I've completely fallen for him. Like others even a few weeks ago i wasn't 100% convinced. He always looked very good on the ball but a bit lightweight and slow, but in the past few games he's been phenomenal. He's looked so determined trying to give us a possible send off. He's looked like he's added a whole new level to his game. Instead of cutting inside and doing some step overs he's been firing straight past fullback with pace i'd never knew he had. He never seems to lose the ball. I don't think there's a single player in Scotland that could remotely deal with him.

It's always been obvious that he wants to go back to City and play in the premier league, then i had a feeling he'd be open to a possible return, even if we were his second choice. But for some reason after the Partick and Hearts games, i'm convinced unless he breaks into the City first team and becomes a star, he wants to stay here for a few years. I think he could earn a call up while playing here with some good CL performances, and will eventually leave for Liverpool for a massive fee.

“I didn’t really know what to expect when I came up here, so for it go it as well as it has is amazing.

I think it's a shame he hasn't had a song belted out about him more regularly.

 

Could easily come here for a few years then go back south to at worst a mid table EPL team and pick up big money to set him up for the years after football.

 

Has definitely grown in his time here.

A superb talent. one that could benefit from another year or two here.

You're young Paddy. Don't rush things. Stay!

 

That's the most promising piece I've seen from him yet..

Few contrasting thing's of late. Said he knows what's happening, then saying he's no sure and hasn't heard from City. I don't buy the latter personally, he knows..

If it's a choice of him being able to choose if City don't aren't going to afford him game's next year, then I think he'll want to come back..

The adulation he's receiving towards the 'end' of his spell is clearly starting to pull on the heart strings. Probably has people like Sinclair telling him how the grass isn't always greener and the whole vibe at the club is positive..... Add in Brendan saying if possible we'll be in fighting for his signature, then who knows. The KT love affair..

Mentioned earlier but having seen how he's been of late, and in other game's pre injury... how could anyone not want him back if it's just another year's loan. That'd still be a steal for us..

We need to go absolutely all out with the Paddy songs on saturday. 90 minutes of "You are my Roberts, my Paddy Roberts" should do the trick.

 

I think that is because he knows short term what's happening, but not long term. He knows after the final he is going back to City for pre season. It's what happens next he is unsure of.
