oh I see pictures of him popping up here, there and everywhere but who is he? is he just a fan? or is he connected to the club?

He's what you call a 'superfan' I suppose, don't know much about him other than he loves to get photos with Celtic players the minute they sign a contract

Has Patrick Roberts ever said he doesn't want to stay at Celtic and he wants to become a Premier League player?

Pure speculation, same as everyone and everything else which is rumoured just now.

  4. Put on a good show yesterday, great to watch and probably wrapping up his starting place for the final.

I'd love to see a montage of him going past players over the last few weeks. Been a joy to watch.

Pure speculation that a young English footballer, and Liverpool fan, has aspirations to become an English Premier League player? Come on.. :56:

  9. In some ways he reminds me or Di Canio* in that he is in tight positions faced with 2 or 3 players and you think there's no way he's getting through them, then he does some dazzly stuff and he's away from them

I have even more love for this kid for knocking back Englands tournament to appear at the cup final.

McG you will know how much of a big deal it is for Paddy to knock back the England set up. With you living in the big smoke. That tournament is what young lads down there prepare for in all their youth teams etc. But I don't think it will damage Paddys chances in the future as im sure he has been given someone's blessing.

  12. It's a big thing for anyone at any level to knock back a world cup for a domestic cup final..

His inner belief means he'll be at one sooner or later as he knows it himself. Probably as a number 10 by then..

What relevance does any of that have to my point?

Are you speculating or do you know something we all don't?

  15. Not in so many words
    "
‘I have never resigned myself to not making it there. I never give up,’ said Roberts.

‘I showed last season that I could compete with them in training and maybe that’ s why I stayed there for a bit - I did quite well.

‘You need to play games and you are not going to play many because there are many top-class players there, so that’s why I left on loan.

‘I never give up. I’ll go back there and show them what I can do. That’s the kind of person I am.’"

So the same as Fraser Forster, for example? Who was a Celtic player...

To be honest, I think he might have changed his tune on that one,he must realise he won't get a game and is enjoying his football here.
With the Champions league coming up,he will know his best chance to prove himself is here.

Relevance in the sense that you think it's "pure speculation" to suggest a young English footballer has aspirations to become an English Premier League player.

We all? Are we all sitting on the fence as to wether or not Roberts would have dreams to play in the EPL, possibly even for the club he supported as a boy?

He could sign a five year deal in China and those natural aspirations would still be there. English footballers grow up wanting to play in English football, hence why they are some of the least travelled set of footballers in the world.

    ..and?

Nobody is saying they hate the idea of playing for Celtic, only that they have aspirations and career plans outwith Celtic, and for English men, that tends to be the EPL.

The same Fraser Forster who played for Celtic, got the tshirt, and then pursued a move to the EPL.

  18. Couple of callers putting him in the Larsson bracket earlier. Steady on..

Different player's but he's similar to a Lubo or Naka. Lubo is still well out infront as Lubo did this here heading towards his mid 30's and could use any foot anywhere, but you can see the similarities there..

  19. No he's just a huge fan of Celtic that pretty much goes to every game and event. Seems to be many think he's Crow/Notorious that posts all the pics on here :50:
