No doubting you TT but where are you seeing this potentially good news at?

My * is throbbing with hearing such news, however I do need full satisfaction so some proof would be nice right about now or I could see a trip to doctors will be needed in a few hours.

Just for giggles, can you imagine Fulham fans if we signed Roberts and Ryan Sessegnon after already doing them out of signing Dembele.

Interesting news about Nolito from Man City. Apparantly moving to Betis for a fee of 3.4 million. He was signed last summer for 13.4 million. Shows Man City couldn't care less about money, if you surplus to requirements. Just thought it was interesting as a lot of people feel Man City would want there money back on Roberts if we were to do a deal. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39933205

    We should've signed Nolito :giggle1:

Hopefully an offer of £5m plus a sell on or first buy back clause will be a good starting point...

Jesus Navas might be heading back to Sevilla. Opens up a spot for Roberts.

It's the English home grown player rule that makes this possibility harder. They even wanted to keep boyata just for the home grown rule until he refused to sign a new contract

Nolito is a 30 year old with a stalled career heading home.

No reflection on any potential fee Roberts would cost.

Right lads, my mate is Roberts' cousin (mates ma is roberts' ma's sister) and he told me tonight it's another year deal, loan obviously. Said "Paddy has said he "* loves it at Celtic" and wanted to extend."

He's my mate but I hadn't seen him in a while so I kept at him. He said it's a done deal and I said if it's * he owes me £50 and a ticket to a game and he said "it won't come to that, it's done."

Don't kill me if it doesn't happen lads, I always knew my mate was his cousin but I ain't a regular poster so I've never said it before. Just thought it's worth passing on, I've known about Paddy since his Fulham days because of my mate too. I just can't say it's 100% done because I've not been told directly by Roberts or anything but for a fact, my mate is his cousin, and he's told me it's done.

If this is bullshit I will strangle him to death, but I believe him. Tin hat time!

I meant to say, he also said it's a £500k loan fee.

Another year with Paddy in the squad would make me very happy. Hope this happens.

500k is the least we can do for 2.5 years of his service.

I'll remain sceptical. With all due respect pal, we've had it all before on here. Last transfer window and James McCarthy sticks out, for example.

I hope it's true, but we've been let down far too often! :56:

If true would say it may be an agreement in principle but with a few stipulations. Firstly that Roberts isn't good enough for the city team, 2nd that he is part of the long term plans, 3rd that they wont sell permanently with a buy back and 4th we have Champions league football. All speculation on my part of course.
