What high horse? I said I hope for his sake she is ok. I'm not judging him at all, I'm saying that if he did manage to escape and his daughter didnt, he will struggle to live with that even though it could simply have been out of his hands.

Do you not think that would be the case?

Yeah I was just on about obviously people from the middle East, but aye home grown terrorism is a worry but there is not many to be honest. Most will no doubt have mental issues and not the brightest.

Yeah I think Paris will no longer be a big tourist attraction. Book your holidays to Spain/Portugal soon cause their holiday prices are going to sky rocket.

Your right mate. The real threat and danger for countries like France, Germany and U.K. Etc. Is not the outside entities but the enemy within. Teenagers and young men who appear to be from their respective countries but harbour a burning hatred for the west and western ideologies.

I imagine most fathers would die for their kids without a seconds thought. My point was more that in some circumstances there might not even be a seconds thought in the decision, no choice to make as such.

I just wouldn't condem him completely without understanding the circumstances, or at the very least knowing how you would react in the face of automatic gunfire.

This was probably a sleeper cell or something. They had to know the streets and how to make a getaway. It is unlikely refugees would be able to carry out these planned attacks.

But they haven't made a getaway have they? I thought it was suicide bombers plus the gunmen inside the stadium slaughtering people one by one.

I think you under estimate their numbers. And for having mental issues. These people will probably carry out jobs such as teachers or civil servants etc. You don't need to be thick to have a fanatical support of your ideals.
