    The culture and upbringing they have is worlds apart from ours. They have no doubt had family and friends killed by bombings etc, it's not excusable but you can see how they are so easily persuaded or even chose to become extremists.

    Sorry King I can't reason with your opinion. That is so selfish and cowardly for a father to leave his child in danger to save his own skin. As a father I would not be leaving the scene without either of my kids. In fact I would die for my children. Not a second thought.

    The worrying thing is it's not always a case of culture and upbringing. We've seen a rise of home grown terrorism recently, with people born and raised in Western European nations effectively being brainwashed by propaganda.

    I have to admit, for the first time ever I've started to consider the threat of terrorism when going abroad, which is rather bizarre imo
