exactly BB mate, there are stupid crazy wanks on both sides just the same there are good human beings who follow bith teams and want an end to all the hatred and fighting - unfortunatly its alot easier said then done and to try and change generations of clashes and hatred for the other is very difficult to do.

    Where did i say that?

What i said was that overall it gave a balanced view of sectarianism in the west of Scotland...which is what the programme was about...

How long have you lived in the West of Scotland?

After watchin the program last night, it seems the roots of them problem stem from other sources than sectarian intolerance. these are mainly people who work, go to school and scocialise with each other. On old firm days the police do a brilliant job keeping the huns away from us and outside of the stadium i never see any problems. (sure if you go looking you'll find some though). if i remember correctly, all of the incidents featured on the program last night were happening in and around pubs. I'm lucky enough to get tickets for the old firm games and so dont watch the games in the pubs. but it's clear that the alchohol fueled conflict between jubilent and depressed supporters come closing time causes major problems. is it a problem for the first minister that maybe alchohol is partly to blame?? probably one of the governments biggest tax incomes?? or maybe other different social problems which the goverment struggle to handle?? it's a lot easyer to pass the buck onto the football association and it crtainly sells more 'newspapers'.

I agree. there's a difference between the huns singing about the slaughtering of Irish Catholics and the singing of a song of fields in ireland.
the bbc seem to think the singing of an irish song is sectarian. nothing to do with the foundation of our club then??
