Im tipping him to do it this year against the huns , i hope to * he does what peter grant done when he scored against them ,blessed him self as soon as he scored against them. He would be worshiped if he did . but would he have the balls too is another matter, i recon lennon secertly would be well happy with him if he did. :icon_mrgreen: If it was me then id defo do it , whats the worst that could happen.

Paddy if your reading this , you no what to do ,LLf . HAIL HAIL

    Just saw the goal.

Top class, just wish he had the fitness levels to last a full game.
I think Lenny might start him in the next game, then if he does not produce,he will be kept as a 60th minute sub...hope not though.

He is a class act,a player people would pay to watch.

    Scott Brown.

James Forrest plays best down the right wing, Shaun plays best just off the striker, Paddy likes to cut in from the left.

Play them as the three prongs of our midfield, Kayal and Juarez sitting deeper behind them, Hooper as the striker. :50:

I absolutly love the guy and im glad to see people beginning to see what so many of us on here, (including me :icon_mrgreen:) have been saying about this guy.

He is just something else, and how he can be kept out of the team is beyond me.

Ive just been through every single one of his goals, there isnt any just, "decent or normal" goals, there have all been absolute peach's. He is suck a rare breed and lenny looked very impressed with that goal today. :celt_2::50:

I think everybody could see McCourt has the talent, everyone's issues lie with McCourt's fitness problems.

Put it this way, McCourt has provided magical moments almost every-time he's stepped on the pitch. There can be only a few reasons why he's not starting. Fitness problems and his lack of tracking back (which can also tie in with guess what, his fitness problems)

He had a fitness problem when he first joined us, he doesnt anymore, he has come out and said he doesnt know what people are talking about.

If an "unfit" player can score a goal like that EVERY time he plays, then screw the fit players lets start paddy! :50:

My point is, everyone can see the magical moments McCourt is creating every-time he steps on the pitch, Lennon and his staff are no different. There has to be a reasonable explanation why he isn't starting. For me, I can only think it's because he's not too hot at fulfilling his defensive duties or his fitness.

No doubt McCourt's an incredible talent, I'm not doubting his attacking ability.

I can not understand why he doesnt start.

Lubo never defended much, Cristiano Ronaldo never enters the other half of the pitch. Hes more of a playmaker, he shouldnt be defending, he gets the ball and makes things happen, he cant be defending at the back and doing that at the same time.

He doesnt have a fitness problem, so i really dont know why he doesnt start, maybe its because Lenny sees him as more of an impact sub, and theres a lot of competition for his position.

Paddy can do things that noone else bar Messi can do. He dribbles past 3,4,5 defenders before passing (not smashing) past the keeper. I remember his goal against Seattle Sounders when he went past 2 defenders before passing it into the far corner (I remember thinking "och for * sake, straight into the keepers hands" how wrong could I have been)

You're comparing different tactics and formations here. Our formation today for example, both our wide players were constantly tracking back and helping out with the defence as well as bursting forward and creating instant counter-attacking opportunities.

I honestly don't think McCourt has got the engine to play the full game on the wing and fulfill all the defensive duties Lennon has set his players, as well as posing an attacking threat. In my opinion, that's the reason McCourt isn't starting games.
