    Played well yesterday.

I gotta give him full credit.

Shame he didn't score, though. I was hopin' he'd knock one in before being taken off.

    Good for him. :50:

He`s good to have around and be a squad player. If Paddy is happy with that too, there is absolute no harm in keeping him at the club

I thought he played very well against Inverness C.T.

I mean * sake people he hardly ever gets a game and when he comes on and fails to perform once in a blue moon, people are out to hang him for it.

Its not like he gets a lot of gametime to practise. :-( Players like McCourt would benefit massively if we brought back the reserve league. Getting rid of the reserve league was a horrible idea for the scottish game.

Very glad he played on Saturday. He was excellent until he started to tire and then was rightfully replaced. I thought the midfield were all excellent, and if truth be told, a lot better to watch in my opinion. There was much more forward thinking players, and it showed. Instead of going from side to side, there was a much more direct approach and it was great to watch I thought.

    I agree.

I thought the team played a much more direct and attracive style of football which has been lacking in a lot of games this season.

Exactly what we were talking about a few pages back mate. We were so much better to watch on Saturday.

I still love the guy, and am convinced that he offers something different from what we have. I would be happy to see him do well somewhere else; he really deserves it.

Overall I am sad to see him go. If he were playing in 1913 instead of 2013 he would have probably been a legend here.

He was just that kind of player. But he just doesn't have the fitness, I feel, to be effective in this day and age. He is an incredible guy tho and out of everyone in the Celtic squad I would pick paddy to have a chance to have a beer with.

Paddy is just too lightweight, but i'm sure he'll do well at another club.

I wish him all the best, hopefully he can find a team where he can fit in and flourish. Despite what some of the anti Paddy brigade think, he is blessed with more natural ability on the ball than anyone else in that squad.

Hopefully he will go to a team that doesn't bring him on with 10mins to play, when they are losing, and the team has gone into a shell! That pretty much sums up what has happened here for a lot of times he has come on. Then a lot of fans get on his back when he tries a few things that don't come off! Wish him all the best wherever he goes.

A genuinely gifted footballer, just didn't have the physique.

I hope he goes to a Championship team that surrounds him with runners and battlers - like Blackpool did with Charlie Adam - and just let the guy do what he wants.

He needs a team built around him to an extent, which was never going to happen here.

All the best Paddy, wherever you go :shamrock:

If I was Paddy I'd head for the USA or play in continental Europe, as opposed to the hurly burly of the Championship in England.

There's one thing though, if his team is playing on the tele I'll be watching it. Very fun player to watch.
