McCourt's a fine passer of the ball. He's not just a dribbler.

I'd say his decision making lets him down big-time. As you said, he is a fine passer of the ball - sometimes he can spot a threaded pass no one else can but he often chooses to try and beat his man when there are better options available.

He did well today. Not what we tend to expect from him, but he passed the ball very well and that was a wonderful cross for Cha's goal. I sometimes fear that people expect him to just ghost past players whenever he gets the ball, but he doesn't do that all the time. He did well enough today just sitting in a bit, carrying the ball a bit and spraying passes around.

He was saying he is a good dribbler? Just that there was more to his game than that?

Played very well today, just got the ball and made good passes didn't try to dribble much, a rather reserved Paddy display but was the better for it in this game :50:

Would be interesting to see him come on next week if they're tiring - he would rip them apart. Wouldn't start him though.

with Paddy not having enough in his locker LOL *, did you just witness then today, he played the team into the * game with ease, he came on and motherwell where pined back, where are you hearing this rubbish from he is not fit, was he not fit enough to * motherwell, you guys need to start thinking about what your eyes are saying to your brain,
with 20min gone who was the heros out there before he came on, your words all them fit capable players there.
getting games in front of Mc Court. the fact that is was from McCourts play, that he won us the game, playing inplace of KI IN A ROLE THAT BOTH KI AND BROWN could not master as good as the PADDY BOY, and i know that hurts loads of guys on here as they have again been shown up for there lack of talent spotting once more

Did some people watch a different match? Paddy got a chance through an injury and grabbed it with both his hands, he done ki's job better than him today. Bar losing the ball near our box once he was brilliant.

Was impressed by his perfomance today.
I've never really been a big fan of his but his passing ability and restrained performance really worked out well.

I'm one that likes Paddy but have never really considered him to be consistent enough to warrant an automatic starting spot. Mainly because he tends to take on too much and would often try to beat an extra man when a pass would have created a better scoring opportunity.

Fair play though today when he came on we saw none of that. He looked for players and seemed to read the game far better than I've seen him do in a long time. Maybe if he gets a wee run in the side he can continue to show he has what it takes to become a regular. I honestly don't know if he features in Celtic's long term plans but I'd still like to see him given the chance.

Doubt Lenny will play him against the huns but I'd love to see him get a bit of time against him. The whole park singing PMFA!

Agreed. Paddy had a couple of incisive passes(inc Cha's goal), and other times played it safe and retained possession well. Had he been a debutant today, he'd be gettin the same praise as the Watty. Would luv him to be doin that on a regular basis and he'd certainly have a Celtic future.:celt_2:
