    Paddy is a great player, but fitness is obviously a massive issue that he has. It would be best for him to leave the club and join another in which he would actually get a game at, maybe then we could see him progress as a player, as sadly I can't see that happening here.

    I think paddy is a great player too. We re wasting him and im surprised hes not moved on. He should be playing every game not a starter but at least half an hour a game

    I think we all love paddy but let's be honest when he does get a start he's just as likely to run into someone or let the ball run under his foot and out of play as he is to produce a bit of magic. A luxury player, not reliable enough.

    Technically I think he is one of the best players. Dribbling, passing, vision. All traits of a playmaker. The stuff about his fitness is a myth. When he plays he can last the full 90 mins no probs. I really can't work out why we never see him.

    No chance he's our best player but he has feet like nobody else we have and is a great impact player. So frustrating though, he's had so many injuries and 3 managers have never given him an extended run.

    I wouldn't say the fact that he lacks athletic ability is a myth since Strachan has said that he couldn't believe his fitness levels were so low for a professional footballer.

    Don't rate him highly at all. I can enjoy watching him when he comes on at times, but he is nowhere near as good as he's made out to be. Not good enough for Celtic imo and should be punted end of the season. Even if it's so he can show what he can do every week at a club more to his level.
    I would be happy still even if he played in the SPL still, just not at Celtic.

    if he was our best player he would be playing week in week out, he has played under 3 different managers and still not been able to get into the first team for a run

    has has skill but best player i think not
