If Bilic is wanting to speak with Celtic then surely they should at least have talks with him before they rush in and sign Coyle..?

Looks like it's done and dusted - he's not my first choice but * it he could be a great manager.

I'll be right behind him from the word go!

as far as I'm aware (and I've only seen a few of their games) he had them playing a decent passing game.

Not seen too much but I saw them come out and attack Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal last season showing no fear - especially at home.

Attacking and very good yeah. Burnley were well organised at the back (Carlisle, Caldwell) but good going forward.

A hard-working midfield (Elliot, McCann) with a couple of flair players (Blake, Eagles) supporting a target man (Thompson).

Also, Bilic hasn't even managed at club level, as far as I'm aware. I think people are putting too much stock in his ability.

    COYLE

He's a young manager and been very successful.

Was manager of Falkrik in 2003 and won 13 of his 19 games which was absolutley brilliant. Went to St Johnstone and knocked Rangers out the Cup at Ibrox, took St Johnstone to the semi-final of the League Cup, the semi final of the Scottish Cup knocking out Falkirk and Motherwell and the final of the Challange Cup but finished 2nd in the League to Gretna.

At Burnley he got promotion in his first year with a Club who havent been in the Premier for decades. Reached the semi-final of the English League Cup knocking out Chelsea, Arsenal, Fulham and West Brom. Then in the play-offs won all three games without conceding.

Looks a great manager to me, took small clubs to 3 Cup semi-finals, a final and a play-off final. in 4 years of management and never finished outside 5th in a League with the small clubs.

I would love it if we could bring him in!

As someone said he could be the new Alex Ferguson. Lot of similarities with the two.

I'm not to dis-hearted about Owen Coyle being the new gaffer, if it happens.

Everyone is going on about going for Bilic as well, but Bilic has had no club experience at all and has sat on his * for the last 2 years. No doubting his ability but what about the ability of Coyle. He's young, energetic, play attractive football and the Burnley fans love him. Love from fans is something Strachan hasn't had at any clubs he's been at.

Any manager that comes in will have a tough job to do and i think Coyle would do as good a job as any.
