Overrated XI

Can you say De Gea is overrated? Tough one to call because everyone else thinks hes * except Ferguson

No way Busquets is overrated, and someone said Kroos..really?

 

Think for me it would be -



Struggled for which strikers to pick because other strikers that are overrated for me are Torres, Defoe, Wellbeck and Sturridge.

Plus I know that players like Lennon and Young are wingers and not central midfielders BUT they're still overrated so they go on the list :icon_mrgreen:

 

Two of the most overrated players ever have to be Beckham and Ibrahimovic. Can't believe the clubs they have played for. I reckon they are Spurs-esk at best.

Beckham isn't overated either. He wasn't flashy or a genius, he was just very, very effective and very hardworking.

Beckham and Van Nistelrooy is one of the most prolific partnerships ever.

 

Its hard to say over rated as everyone has their own opinions on players. So i'll pick players who are at too good a team(and get too many games).

Parker isn't overrated imo. Also, I think that Butland can become a very good gk. Other 9 players are overrated to *. :icon_mrgreen:

 

Rooney and Ferdinand. Gary hooper IMO obv .

I think balotelli will go down in history as the most over rated player ever

Parker is very overrated in England for me.

Butland is there because I heard him described last bight as the best young keeper in the world, otherwise it would be Joe Hart

Very effective is the key word there. If you need a man to provide the balle to set up a goal in a big game. He's your man.

He was insanely effective, his assist record is incredible. He coupled that with being hardworking for the team, that turned him World Class for me.

At his best he was incredible, he just wasn't flashy. Although hedid have some genius moments. His goal from te halfway line and some of his free kicks, goals from open play as well.

I think people tend to look at his media circus rather than how good he actually was.

 

I don't know, I even think that Parker is underrated. Maybe that's because I love those battling midfielders who could ran for whole day (Broony).
