    the police want more money then dont let opposing fans have tickets fill the ground with our own support then if we beat them see what excuse they have for the increase in violence, it hurts to lose but it doesn't make me want to fight with others

    i'll repeat a request that appears every once in a while......our club and its fan base should now take every avenue possible to now distance ourselves from the term "old firm" our club needs no assosciation with that institution and fanbase. stop our players and management from using the term.....and refuse to use it......its the manchester derby....the milan derby......the liverpool derby.......can we now as a club bin the term "old firm" and call it the glasgow derby.....let them bump their gums about more than two teams in glasgow.....this is about cleansing ourselves.....let them suck their thumbs if they arent happy with us.

    Just heard Kris Commons saying that rangers came to get 'right into us' and went on to remind us of the amount of red/yello cards that our neighbours received. Gus McPherson's response? 'Rangers came to play in a certain formation...' Well Gus, they sure did!

    I dont know if the people at the view have a wee sneeky look at this site to see what the fans are talking about well if they do take note and pass it up the line I know if they held a vote via the view along the lines of

    1. Do the fans want the club to ditch the term OLD FIRM :50: from all our comunications i.e. The View/After Match Media reports and the likes or
    2. Keep it as it is :38: reply to etc etc

    The fans would vote to ditch the term

    We get tarred every time they start or cause trouble on or off the field win or lose. It's time to drop it.

    Onn the subject of the match the other night, I can't remember a reaction quite like this, it is staggering.

    Not a punch, a kick a headbutt or any sort of non-'terrible tackle by a hun' violence, and the press are up in arms.

    What Wednesdays game has become about is selling papers.

    The press are scum.

    Kris Commons did very well in the press conference today, continually pointing out it was rangers who got the most bookings, rangers who got the red cards, rangers that committed the most fouls and rangers who signed that nut case diouf and that their plan was simply to come and "get us" much to the shock of the press hacks!

    loved his jibe at martin bain's pathetic "a big bully called us names" statement as well, pointing out verbals is part and parcel of football and if you cant take it you should be in another sport!

    Neil Lennon probably shouldn't have reacted the way he did but it's been blown out of proportion. And he was provoked in my opinion. We all know that it was Rangers that were a disgrace on Wednesday.

    What it (the press) should be about is the thuggish tactics of the huns, the aftermatch comments of the dignified one (questioning the refs integrity), and the (yet again) shameful songs from the away "fans".

    If that was us who had 10 bookings, our manager said what nosurname did, and our fans singing songs deemed illegal, does anyone think the press would be the same? I bet they would have no problem differentiating then.

    Just listened to the full press conference with Kris. Bhoy, did he handle that really well! Unbelievable that it took up until the 6th minute before he got a question about the Hamilton game. It is quite incredible listening to the juvenile and nauseating questions that they ask, in the hope that he says something controversial that will then be the next negative HEADLINE for Celtic. Well done Kris but it would have been quite funny to get Scott B and Hooper to do a wee joint interview, same questions!!!

    Lenny is doing a great job managing the team but if the guy had behaved on Wed night all the headlines would have been about the animals tying to kick Celtic off the park . I know Lenny recieves terrible abuse that nobody should get but everybody knows he will react and they play on it . Why did he have to go toe to toe with scumbag Diouf and McCoist ? The guy deserves what is coming his way because his touchline antics are now embarassing to the club .
