teams just walk by them into positions where they can put good crosses into our box before our full-backs get to tackle them.i thing it is time to change formation to 3-5-2
boruc
caldwell loovens mcmanus
crosas
hinkel naka brown mcgeady
jvoh mcdonald

Wouldnt mind seeing a change in formation myself. But there is no chance in strachan doing that, especially at this stage in the season.
More chance of Bobo replacing Mick as Captain -
i doubt that would ever happen. Strachan likes 4-4-2 and its a big risk changing formation half way through a season it could mess everything up
-
cant see us changing formation but bringing players like crosas loovens and jvoh for mick hartley and sammy would be an idea, probs maloney for naka when fit aswell as naka isnt interested half the time
also, anyone else think get zaluska in now as boruc is injured? -

Funny that, I saw Nakamura make a fantastic tackle yesterday. You know the one? Early on, Severin ( I think ) was running in ready to smash the ball, Naka tracked back and slid tackled him perfectly. The referee had stopped play seconds before it, but neither Severin or Nakamura knew that.
I also saw McGeady getting stuck in several times yesterday. I don't see Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Arjen Robben, Joe Cole, Albert Riera, Ashley Young, I don't see any of them tackle. -
I like the idea of a 3-5-2 especially against SPL teams. Its already been proved successful when MON was here and would result in more comfortable results imo. I just think it takes a brave man to do so. With 5 men in midfield we will probably dominate most matches and create a * of a lot more chances than we have been creating this season

I know the Naka life saving tackle but he's not the best but it's not really his job. McGeady can't tackle either. Think of the 4th goal yesterday.
Can we play with 2 players like this? Of course we can but McGeady has to learn how to pass or expect to sit on the bench until he's needed. Maloney is twice the player he is and he can't tackle either lol. -
im more worried about centre halfs that cant win * headers

Were in a right old mess
Goalies who have * holes in them
Defenders who can't defend or win headers
Midfielders who can't tackle
And Strikers who would struggle to score in a barrel of fannies -

I think nakas been tackling a lot more this season than he has ever done before, he was pish yesterday, but against dundee utd he was sticking the boot in a lot more, which was a big surprise!

what formation the more and more i see us recently we look like we have none. and to many people in our team playing out of position this season too.
getting worse than old watty. -

There's a difference between a 2 footed leg breaker and a tackle
I guarantee this thread doesn't appear if we didn't get beat on Sunday.
Read Ronnie Cully's article in The Evening Times today, pretty much sums up my feelings on the league and Celtic just now.
