His story really doesn't seem all that legit.

I remember one part of the story he said he didn't have his legs on and another part says that he walked to the door. He also said he didn't realize she was out of the bed, im quite sure the first thing id check would be to see if my gf was ok.

This guy is going to get raped in prison and there will be nowhere for him to run.

Think he can walk on his stumps.

    Still looks guilty to me.

Actually I think his story is quite plausible :87: Here's a guy who needs prosthetic legs to function as an able bodied man. He perhaps felt vulnerable in his own home and knew that without a gun he wouldn't be much use at defending his home. Having all those guns makes him feel secure. He gets up in the dark (apparently on his stumps), quietly makes his way to the balcony for the fan, hears a noise in the bathroom, panics thinking someone has gone up the ladder (remember the builders ladder outside?) into the bathroom and he over reacts with devastating consequences.

He said that when he twigged someone was in the house he rushed to the gun shouting to her to wake up and call the cops. You get the impression he was (in his panic) trying to make as much noise as possible to scare the would be robber away. He starts shooting at the door suddenly realises that she hasn't responded to his shouts.......it dawns on him what's happened :87:. She quite naturally locked the loo door (although this bit I'm not sure of because I wouldn't given there's only two of us in the room) he realising what he's done can't get in and starts to try and break a hole in it with the bat.

It's so sensless and stupid to be plausible. The witnesses are all starting to look really stupid too in that much of what's been said seems to be based on assumptions i.e the supposed testesterone and needles turning out to be herbal meds, the neighbour hearing shouting but couldn't actually say for certain it was them as the noise was coming from 600yds away ....no make that 300yds  A domestic dispute some time back involving an unwelcome visitor.....he bangs the door on them and something fell off the door and injured the person .......they call the cops and complain

Whatever the truth of this just a little too much is coming out from all directions and I can't imagine that they will ever be able to select a jury that hasn't already made their mind up.

They don't have juries in South Africa.

Does seem strange watching all this information coming out daily, that would never happen in this country for fear of corrupting jurors.

Pistol Pistorious is guilty in my mind

He will go down for it,unless his lawyers get him off on some technicality and another thing SA is a corrupt to the hilt state the amount of rands might make him not guilty.

I don't know why but I feel that he might be innocent of Murder. Mind you I know nothing about the guy other than what I've seen over the past week. To my mind there's a lot of people rushing to say he's guilty and the police seem to have mishandled the case as well.

The media are always going to over play how bad the guy is such as focus on how many guns he owns etc. There won't be much focus on his work for charity.

Already the police have admitted to blunders in the investigation

Doesn't change the fact that his version has more holes than the toilet door and is sometimes against what common sense would tell you.

I refuse to believe that his girlfriend locked the toilet door when it was just them to in the house at 4 in the morning. I don't lock my toilet door at 4 in the morning and there's 6 people living in my house. If she was locked in the bathroom then she wasn't there to go to the toilet in my opinion.

The toilet is only a small room with just a toilet pan in it though, if a Robber was really in there with the door locked why would you shoot through the door? you could have phoned the polis and then just stood outside the door and if they came out shot if they had a weapon or just held them there with the gun until the polis came. By shooting through the door 4 times your have a high chance of killing the person in there.

Well you could say she locked the door, when she heard him shouting about an intruder in the house, BUT then she'd probably also shout back at him telling it's her, who's in the bathroom.

As I said, full of holes.

    Here are some more:
    - balcony is next to the bed, so he'd probably hear if she went up to go to the toilet behind him,
    - the defence say it was pitch black, yet he could find his gun under the bed just fine,
    - if he didn't have his prostetics on, then surely he needed to grab on to the bed to balance himself while grabbing the gun and had enough time to realise the bed was empty,
    - the gun holster was found on the side of the bed, where she slept, again he would've noticed the bed's empty,
    - but then the defence said he had a shoulder issues (mkay), so he slept on that side of bed unlike normally, which again brings to the first point, which would make it even more likely for him to hear her walking behind him on her way to the toilet...

Here's how the top floor looks:
