At what odds? Everyone knew they were going to win. Did you win a pound?

Ah.........that was brilliant watching that. They finally got what they deserved. The same thing has happened all season with Rangers, as soon as they play a good team they cant cope i.e Barcelona, Lyon, Us, Zenit. * Fiorentina were terrible, Bremen were ok but Sporting and the Greeks were rubbish too. Rangers tactics dont work against good footballing sides and it was proved last night. Oh it was quality. I actually prefer it for them to have lost in the final than in any the previous rounds. Cause to lose a UEFA cup final is completley gutting. Nothing less than they deserve

Rangers cancel honour parade as mark of respect to Tommy Burns
May 15 2008
RANGERS have cancelled a parade of honour due to be held today as a mark of respect to Celtic legend Tommy Burns who died this morning.
The Rangers players were due to make their way through Glasgow in an open-topped bus after returning from Manchester where they lost the UEFA Cup Final.
However, the parade was called off this morning as a mark of respect to Celtic great Tommy who died of cancer today aged 51.
It is believed Rangers players will still be available to thanks fans for their support at Ibrox early this aternoon.
Rangers lost 2-0 to Zenit St Petersburg last night in their first European final for 36 years.

YEAH RIGHT! Sorry to be ungracious guys and galls, but I think they have just hijacked TBs passing to get out of an embarrasing media circus. *!
-
I would have loved to have seen that as well, :icon_mrgreen:.

TB was respected by all football fans (coverage just now on forums, tv & radio confirms this) and there is genuine sadness within all of Scottish football for his loss. I hate and despise the Huns as much as anyone but honestly don't think they are using this to save face.
As said previously, the Huns accused us of using underhand tactics when Phil O'Donnell passed away and cancelling the New Year game. Some of our comments on this matter strike me as coming across in the same way and in my eyes makes them particularly Hunnish!!
This attitude is not the Celtic way and it most definetely is not the Tommy Burns way - please do not sink to the Huns level. -
