    70% of his player rights?

Not too happy about that too be honest, but happy we have signed a striker.

It will be this - However I am not too happy with that as I am sure we are paying a fair amount for a guy from the Isreali market.

Amazing how we can get an Isreali International for £2m, but you look down south and they are paying £12m for some guy from Ipswich who has done very little with his career apart from a few goals in the championship :50:

Would have been happy with Bothroyd but happier this guy is younger and quicker.

£2 million seems a bit steep considering his scoring record, but will judge him when I see him play.

That's if he signs of course.

Most young players dont have great scoring records as they are only 17/18/19/20 when they played the majority of their games which would have been from the bench or out wide as they were not yet good enough to play up front.

However like someone said he has 25 goals in his last 64 games and 2 in 2 Internationals.

Cheers for your post mate. Hope he succeeds too and expresses himself. Be interesting to hear what you you thought Beram Kayal was worth when he left Israel last summer? Do you think he was sold too cheaply or was about right at the time?

Beram isn't good expamle and I explain why.
    1. he was injury and twice and the last half season in Israel.
2.he wanna left Maccabi in any price to Europe so Maccabi didn't have a choice and sell him.

However in Israel's media published that Celtic bought him in 2M euroes, for my opnion it was a good price but I was sure that in one year Beram will be worth much higher, but it can't be in Maccabi.
any of Maccabi's fans think it's a great transfer to the team becouse Beram make a lot of problems in his last few monthes and on last summer the israelis players on the market didn't went to Europe on so high prices like that summer.
and don't forget that Beram have just one goal and one asist in 2009/10.

    I'm sorry about my English:)

The 70% must mean a 30% sell-on clause? Surely not one of these dodgy Italian player sharing deals? :56:

But I will tell you somthing about Maccabi Petach Tikva players: any other team in Israel cant buy them.
even Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Petach Tikva's chirman,Ammous Luzon(brother of ISA Director Avi Luzon) every time ask for his talented players at leat twice from they deserve.
The lonely players that leave that club do that only to Europe and also sign contract with Luzon that if they will came back to IPL they will play only in Petch Tikva.

They sell Damari becouse he finish his contract next year, they have another great player,Tal Ben Haim(not the central defender).

cheers MHFC, your English is fine and easy to understand:50:

Just wanted your thoughts because Beram was an absolute bargain at £1. 2m.
Transfer values from Israel may well have increased slighlty this summer due to recent successful imports. But if Damari comes over here and makes the same kind of impact that BK has we will be more than delighted. And if that turns out to be the case £2m will be a very good deal for all concerned.

ps. with regards Beram's lack of goals and assists, don't mind in the slightest if he has none in the entire season as long as he carries on dominating in the middle of the park plus serious hunskelping that's good enough for me.:icon_mrgreen:

    I'm agree.
I dont need to tell you how Beram infuelncing about the game style of his team even if he doesnt score every game.
But the end of 2009/10 was very bad for maccabi,so the crowd was engry about a lot of Maccabi's players and the coach,Beram some problems with his beahvior(also becouse Maccabi rejected to offer from Standart in January) and his 'bad' numbers gram to fans to think that is extremly great transfer becouse Beram doesnt want to stay in Israel any more.

Damari can be good for celtic, but isn't 'sure case' if you understand what I mean,so Celtic risk a lot of money.

Yeah sometimes being unhappy and angry with the team/players is unavoidable so can understand if things happened to reach that level.
Happier ending this term for you's though!

Well fingers crossed Damari's does well and his style be beneficial for us . cheers for the honest opinion.

on another note, without changing the thread whats the latest with Itay Schecter is he going to kaiserslautern?

    Sechcter himself dont know.
He's very want to go and almost cry in every interview with him,but Ali Taviv doesnt alow the transfer.
Hapoel chirmans's story is very complicated and the other chirman allow him to go.

it seems like Secheter gonna complaine to UEFA against Taviv.

Express or the Sun today (can't remember) says that Lennon will decide this weekend whether to bid or not.

wouldn't mind him as well as the African lad. just wish we could punt all our strikers bar Stokes and Hooper to afford and accommodate these players.
