Gives me alot more confidence knowing we have a strong midfield with Ntcham capable of creating chances and helping Broony out aswell. If we can play with this kind of confidence in Europe next season and sort our defence out than we are looking at getting some big results.

OLIVIER Ntcham is loving life at Celtic, having made the permanent move from Manchester City last summer. And the French midfielder was delighted to clinch the first-ever league title of his career, playing his part in the 5-0 demolition derby win at Celtic Park, which confirmed the Hoops as champions of Scotland for a seventh consecutive season.

Speaking exclusively to this week's Celtic View, he praised the efforts of the Celtic supporters in driving the team on to victory, not only on the day but throughout the campaign.

Ntcham said: “I’m very happy because we won at home in front of all the fans, and it was a really good game to play in. The atmosphere was unbelievable and the 12th man was great. I would say it’s one of the best atmospheres I’ve ever played in.To win titles is what every player dreams of but to win like this is very nice.

“We were very pleased with how we played. At home, it is different to playing away. It’s easier for us to play at home because the supporters here are always behind you and they push you. Every time you have the ball, the fans will push you on and you have to play the ball forward and try to score more.

“This is the first league title I have won and it is special. You never forget your first league title for the rest of your life. I am happy and I want to win many more titles in my career.

“I work very hard so this achievement means a lot to me. Every time you win something you’re always happy because you know, in football, if you win something, you deserved it.

“This gives us a lot of confidence for the remaining games and also the Scottish Cup final. When you win a derby like we did, you can take confidence from this."

Doing a better job of marking Brown than Shinnie is fs!

Twice the natural talent of Armstrong, half as effective.

He’s performed in nearly every big game this season. Armstrong shites it every time.

Lackadaisical in games against the smaller teams and ones like today which are meaningless though. Needs to give 100% effort every game like his big mate Eddy.

Armstrong has had big performances. Inter Milan and 2 hun games spring to mind straight away.

Ntcham has it all, he just needs to show it more often. Far too many games he just sits deep and it's just overkill with Brown back there as well.

We have seen Brown making 3-4 runs forward, breaking lines in this game - Ntcham needs to be the man doing that. He has all the qualities once he gets in that position.

Lads he hasn't done anything wrong he gets past a player and nobody is moving or looking for a pass, 3 times I think in the first half he turned in past an opposing player running and brown was stood still beside him. Can't blame ntcham on that he needs players to move and look for the pass

Yeah I think he's been good but players have been quite flat up top. Think this would suit Roberts for his last hoorah

Hard to believe he is only a recent 22 years old, he looks almost as confident and experienced as Broony. Ntcham has shown he is a class act already and a Top prospect. Great signing.
