He has bags of ability and potential, but he's just far too inconsistent at the moment. I know he's not played a whole lot of football so far in his career, but he has an outstanding game, followed by a stinker, followed by a decent game and the cycles continues.

Fair enough but I want him to start bossing games in that midfield. Games seem to pass him by all too often. Def has ability but I want to see more from my CM.

In fairness what has Scott brown done in this game that ntcham hasn't? I don't blame him we are just too flat going forward. Teams sit their whole team behind the ball and we just pass side to side it's hard for the cms to give too much input there imo

The whole team has been half asleep today to be fair but Brown gives us far far more week in, week out than Olivier does. It's not just this game solely. He seems to be a bit passive in his play. I think he has the ability but he needs to start taking control in games and causing trouble for the opposition. He doesn't make driving runs like an Armstrong, he doesn't have as much dig like an Eboue or Brown. His game is mainly based on incisive passes and getting on the ball and imo he is far too sloppy at that atm. I think we would be better served with someone else in there right now tbh.

I agree about brown but look at the contribution in this game nearly every play starts with ntcham? How can you not see that? Far from sloppy aswell he's ac tu ally a very neat player and he's not a driving run type of player but he keeps possession starts plays and is forward thinking. Always going forward, good at pressing and decent defensively. Has dig in him aswell. I honestly can't really fault him and that's not being stubborn that's judging from what I'm watching

He's been better this half I agree. Still think alot of games pass him by though, especially the tougher games when we really need him.

I don't tbh mate, we will agree to disagree but honestly try pay attention to it most plays etc start with him and even times he gives a couple forward passes or through balls but whoever he will give it to slows it down

He’s the only player willing to shoot from outside the box at times, I mean most of them are pish but he at least works the keeper sometimes and gets us corners, needs to be taken off free kicks though he’s gonna hurt someone in the upper tier one of these days.

Agree set pieces he's * but yeah instead of trying to walk it in all the time we need players to be shooting, working the keeper and maybe it would create more space as players will have to come out to close the shots

Thats where we miss Armstrong, his long range shots regularly won us games last season.

He hasn't been up to scratch at all this season though. Could be again down to entire teams sitting back against us. Can't see stu getting back into this team tbh with the depth we have unless he comes back with the form of last year first game back but Doubt that

Despite criticism of his shooting, he still got two on target today. Thought he played well.

He's one of few players in this team who looks comfortable in Europe and in possession near enough 100% of the time.

Always available for a pass which is something people rave about McGregor for.

I really like him and his potential is massive.

Think he's been ok over the course of the season. Few brilliant games, few average. I think next season he'll be very good, probably our next 12 million+ player.

Tell him to get us a better midfield prospect from under the noses of the richest league in the world, I bet you he brings back a * loaf.
