    What marked him out as different from the beginning was that even when he was having some difficulties in games, you could still see the quality there. Like Anderlecth away. Seemed to have having a nightmare in the first half, then makes that incredible pass for Tierney and in the second half hardly gave the ball away. Testament to his mental strength.

    He's a lot more of a forward thinking player than I thought when we signed him he's always looking for the forward pass or trying to get a shot away and he's already scored a few.

    Not surprised.

    Could see his qualities from minute 1. He has the attributes and technique to take his game to another level. Unlike Armstrong etc.

    I think there is a certain ceiling for them.

    He’s one of our only European quality players. Dunno why he’s in some game and benched the next? Absolute baffling.

    He’s showed it in nearly every euro game when he’s been on pitch since the qualifiers.

    Thot he was magnificent for 70 minutes before he seemed to pick up a niggle.

    Can clearly pick a pass and made a positive contribution going forward. Said from day one that he is a player and think he is now finding his feet.

    Edit: also dont think he gave the ball away once.

    Was really good today. Passing was accurate and quick and he also surged forward from deep a lot which he hasn't done that often before.
