  1. Nice wee Ntcham missile there

  2. BR: "@OlivierNtcham scored a great goal the game before as well. Brilliant goals from both boys

  3. Unlucky not to get his 5th goal of the season.. he's got such great technique.

  4. Did that hit the post earlier off a deflection?

He's so much more dangerous just outside the box..

  5. Think he volleyed it straight off the post then it hit the keeper on the back and went out for a corner.

  6. Looked freezing tho..:56:

He said in an interview he prefers to play as a no10 rather than a no8 I just don’t see the no10 role in him he seems to like to dictate play from deep his performance vs Astana was a lesson in playing as one of the 2 deep midfielders

  7. Disagree mate..

Few of us were talking about this before and how he looks more comfortable when he's in and around that 10 position..

Thing is I still think he's good in the 8 or sitting playing those lovely through ball's but I think whenever he's just around the box and not assigned to sitting back he's better..

Definitely agree with those who've said he play's within his self in central midfield but he's learning the game and still young. Could very well turn out to be a top class 8. What do I know..

  8. Hes simply not a cdm

  9. He isn’t a wanyama he is a typical 8 box to box imo

  10. He is a box to box no8 for me, I just don’t see him in that advanced role ahead of Rogic and McGregor

  11. Either way, he needs to play on the front foot.

  12. He has the pace. He has the vision. He has the strength. We've seen some of his sublime bit's of skill at time's. We've seen he know's where the goal is and I'm sure the Genoa manager said he had a rocket of a shot on him before he came. Also his freekick for the French midweek just shows another glimpse of something we haven't yet seen as he's still finding his feet at the club..

If he had the license to express his self in about the 10, he may not be as graceful as Rogic, or as high energy as McGregor but I do think he could potentially offer something in that position in the future..

  13. Aye he is in and out the team quite a bit considering the outlay on him. He has every attribute you need to be a success as I said after the Astana home leg he is your next big money player once he gets a run of games

  14. Exactly, which shows how even Brendan is still trying to see what's best for him also..

Agree about the future with him. I've no doubt he'll eventually be sold for a big profit(not too soon though) ..

  15. Thought he did an excellent job when he came on , really helped drive us forward towards the end, and was really unlucky not to score , smart move from Brendan bringing him on

  16. I like his style. Still prone to mistakes but I think we can expect better later on & next season, new players need to settle in.
He’s always looking to pass forward rather than just spray it sideways.

  17. Definitely a lot more to come from him I think .

  18. I think he just needs time personally, has all the tools just needs to bring them together.

  19. Agree that he has the tools and will be a better player for this seasons experience.
I get the feeling he is a replacement for Broony....there are times when teams just shut up shop against us, with their intention to play for a draw and frustrate us, that's when Brown gets the opportunity to come forward and gets a chance to shoot from outside the box(more often than not the shot is off target.....sorry Broony, love you lots:celt_2:)
Whereas Ntcham in the 'Broony'position IMO, has the speed and hardness to break up opponents play as per Broony, but when teams fall back and pack the defence...he can come forward and have a quality shot or have the guille to slide in a wee pass into the box.Has it in him but just needs that wee bit harder graft to rise to Broony's current form for the defence role.
More often than not Brown is my man of the match by a long way and Ntcham can fill his role with that little bit extra....Having said this now, I just know that Broony will score in the cup final and against the Huns....wouldn't we all just love that!.....and that will be my theory up in the air:87:.......HH
